We use Vrbo quite frequently and we would say this is one of the best homes we've stayed at. The house was extremely well furnished and comfortable. The parking was exceptionally nice considering we were in the area for a fishing tournament and were towing boats and gear.We would definately recommend a stay here for both fishermen or families with children as the atmosphere felt very pleasant and secure.

Enjoyed the 2 night stay. The Silva's were very accommodating and replied to messages quickly. Location was good, pictures are good representation of the place, everything was in good working order and place was stocked with everything we needed and good quality. We will hopefully be staying again in the future.

My husband and I stayed here this past weekend with our dog, and it was exactly the peaceful getaway we needed. The property is so quiet and private and the home was spotless, cozy, and very comfortable. We loved that it was pet-friendly, our pup felt right at home! It’s rare to find a place that’s both welcoming for dogs and this clean. We left feeling refreshed and can’t wait to come back again!

My suggestions for improvement would be: replace back screen door, replace dishwasher, fix rug in living room that keeps peeling back ( trip hazard), give directions on how to use thermostat, provide a timer for the oven/ stove, provide decent frying pans and pots that are not scratched up, and provide at least two kitchen towels for drying dishes. We didn't like that the drawer on the dresser in the downstairs bedroom was easy to pull all the way out without stopping, making it hard to use. My husband fixed it for you. Temperature throughout the cabin felt unevenly distributed, where some rooms were colder than others. We would recommend that the place offers an electric can opener and hand mixer for those who stay who like to cook. We liked that the place was equipped with many everyday items and some foods to help us get started, though.

Thank you for your stay and for taking the time to share your detailed feedback. We appreciate you noting that the cabin was well-equipped with everyday essentials to help guests get settled. We continuously work to maintain and improve the property, and we will review the items you mentioned as part of our ongoing upkeep. Our cabin has hosted many guests who have had wonderful stays, and your review represents the first experience that fell outside of that pattern. We understand that every guest has different preferences and expectations, and not every space is the right fit for everyone. We wish you all the best in your future travels and hope you find accommodations that better align with your needs moving forward.
