Very clean and comfortable, outdoor space is fantastic, feels secluded, but has easy access to all the RRG fun, great for a couples getaway or a small family, didn’t have dogs on our stay, but could see how they would do great on the deck, will definitely be looking at this place again on future RRG visits

Clean, cozy and remote cabin located perfectly for all RRG attractions and restaurants. Host was very accommodating and friendly. We had no issues but based on our communications with him we know he would have quickly handled any issues if they would have arose. We would definitely stay here again!

The cabin was very nice- clean, specious, bright and cheery. It was a welcoming place to crash after a day of hiking. The location was convenient to the trails we wanted to hike and local restaurants. We will definitely book this location for our next trip back to Red River Gorge.

This is The Best VRBO we’ve stayed at. Ray communicated promptly and was extremely helpful. Needed assistance once, and within a hour someone was there. Would definitely recommend and visit again. Tip for Meals..Miguel’s pizza & Redpoint BBQ.

When the grill unexpectedly stopped working, it was replaced right away with a brand-new one so future guests can continue to enjoy outdoor cooking without interruption. Wow! This place was amazing! From the time we read the listing to the actual stay to the departure, everything went perfectly and smoothly! This is a very comfortable and very clean cabin, the host is very helpful and responds quickly. The wrap around deck is very cool and I love all the windows. It's new and so is the road so the road is fresh stones and a little muddy but it rained a bit during our stay. We didn't use the hot tub. I really enjoyed the bedroom having the deck right there with the sliding door with the outdoor lighting. We would stay here again.

Absolutely cozy & super welcoming. There wasn’t a thing missing for our Full unforgettable experience! Wonderful amenities & tons of firewood for fire pit. Jacuzzi was perfect after hiking trails. Ray thought of everything. He also communicated VERY well with us! Beds super comfortable, Books to read, Huge TV in every room, board games to play and loved the wrap around deck & new appliances!! Loved the BIG fans and split A/C on each major space. The fireplace was gorgeous. We appreciate washer and dryer as well. This one is “our spot” now when we come back to Red River Gorge. It is a beautiful property newly finished with big tvs and two big bedrooms. It has a beautiful deck.The street and properties seem new for the most part. There is not much green space for kids to play or dogs to roam.We would stay there again.

The giant windows and wrap around porch were the highlights of this place. It was private, quiet and very cozy. My son loved the hot tub, playing chess and even had room to the throw football outside. My husband and I loved the coffee bar, view from the bedroom and sitting around the fire outside. We had no issues at all. We never stay in the same place twice but would strongly consider it with this place!

The home was so cozy and just peaceful enough for a relaxing getaway. Enjoyed the fire pit for s’mores and the hot tub was a great way to relax before going in to snuggle up for a movie! Also really enjoy the fully stocked kitchen for cooking our meals and the assortment of games for the whole family! We had everything we needed to not have to leave. It was the perfect getaway! When we did venture out we were really close to the natural bridge and really enjoyed all the sights!

We LOVED our visit at The Acorn Drop! The property design is well thought out, decor and amenities everything we needed! The property was very clean and I loved the included spices, firewood and other “extras” it was so nice not to haul many things for our quick stay. We didn’t take advantage of the games and fire pit as we thought we would, but simply “melted” enjoying the hot relaxing tub after taking in local hikes. It was the perfect rest & recharge before we went out for dinner. The deck encircling the home made the perfect place to enjoy all wooded views and the perfect weather we were lucky to have. We’ll certainly be back to RRG, hopefully we’ll have another visit at the Acorn Drop. I feel it will be in high demand moving forward so we will need to plan ahead!

This place is fabulous for a mountain retreat getaway!!! Secluded but easily accessible! Has everything you need including an exceptional host! Communications were prompt, effective and professional! Thank you for helping us make lasting family memories. Our pups loved this place too! My advice….book it!!! You will not regret it!

Wonderful, clean place to stay. Enjoyed the wrap around deck. Great location as well.
