This is a beautiful mountain Home! The views are spectacular! All the beds are so comfy and we had the best time ever celebrating my 65 bday! The swing was my favorite spot! The pool table and hot tub was just prefect for our family of 11. If you’re thinking of the mountain retreat don’t hesitate! Lake Granby, Winter Park and the town of Granby are just 20 to 35 minutes away. Amazing home surrounded by mountains.

Wonderful Cabin

The cabin is beautiful, extremely comfortable, and has everything you may need inside. We have a wonderful family gathering and would love to go back. It's easily accesible and close to everything.

Wonderful house, great location

We had 7 adults and loved their room layout, well-equiped kitchen and hot tub. The bird feeders brought lots of birds & deer for our viewing pleasure. Being able to snowshoe right out the backdoor was such a bonus! snowshoes

Beautiful, cozy home in beautiful location!

I took my sister and her family up for a quiet weekend and it was everything we hoped for! Grilled chicken one night while enjoying the sunset, went skiing and visited Hecks Tavern then soothed our tired muscles in the hot tub. My niece showed us a great pool game we could all participate in and the deck was perfect for just sitting and unwinding from the craziness of the city. Can't wait until we can get up to this beautiful home in the summer!

Beautiful and comforable home!

We've just returned from a long weekend in Winter Park with our family of 3, and two other families. The house is beautifully decorated and the furniture was very comfortable. The bedrooms were large and there were enough King beds for each couple, while the kids had plenty of options of bedrooms/beds. The kitchen is very well equipped, plenty of dishes, pots/pans, utensils, and small appliances. The hot tub was a treat after a long day of skiing and the views from this home are breathtaking! We enjoyed our stay very much and highly recommend it!

Terrible!! Awful experience

When we first walked in the house looked nice. We quickly found the hot tub was not heated, the BBQ Grill was not working, the Wifi was awful, and none of the TV remotes had working batteries. When we asked the property management to help us with these thing, they were very rude and unaccommodating. Definitely do not recommend this house or their property management.

Clean, spacious home away from home!

Stunning location, privacy, and a host that has thoughtfully supplied anything you may conceivably need. The kitchen was stocked better than my own with quality cook wear, bakeware, knives, small appliances, silverware and every gadget you can imagine. The grill got a lot of use this weekend and we never ran out of propane. We cooked every meal at the cabin for 12 adults and always had plenty of plates, bowls and silverware. Don’t even bother packing your own paper plates and plastic ware. The Bosch dishwasher handled the enormous amount of dishes we used every day. They supplied plenty of dish and laundry detergent as well. On top of all this, the home was spotless. The beds/pillows were amazingly comfortable and extra pillows were located in every closet. They also supplied more towels than we could have ever needed. The wrap around deck and enormous windows allow you to soak in the beauty of the Rocky Mountains your entire stay. The online photos don’t do justice to the reality of this home’s location. Even as Denver natives, we were blown away by the views. The hot tub was perfect, the mountain swing was a family hot-spot and the abundance of outside seating on the huge deck kept us outdoors most of our trip. The layout of the home accommodated our large group very well and even grandma wanted to sleep in the bunk room on the giant bean bag! If you’re considering this home, you won’t be disappointed. We’re already planning to make this an annual destination. Just book it!

Wonderful week in Granby, Colorado

I did write a review shortly after we returned, it must have gotten lost somewhere in cyberspace. I will summarize: although the weather was uncharacteristically warm for Colorado (mid to upper 80's) the family had a great time. The home was beautiful and very well equipped. The view of the valley and mountains was phenomenal. Everyone enjoyed the facility especially the hot tub and the pool table. We primary hiked at several different locations in the area. We toured Winter Park and road the ski lift to the top of the slopes, that was great. We drove to the top of Rocky Mountain National Park, it too was quite scenic and beautiful. We ate out at several restaurants in the general area, we brought in pizza, we BBQ'd and we baked an egg casserole for breakfast. We entertained ourselves with games while relaxing at night from a hard day's effort. To help improve the stay for future residents we would recommend more and better ceiling fans for the occasional warm weather and nights, sleeping upstairs particularly was a little rough. Maybe even a portable fan or two could be made available. Again because of the unusually warm weather, the deck was very warm to hot with no shade a good deal of the day, perhaps some awnings or tables with umbrellas would aid that situation. I realize during the snowy, skiing season these recommendations aren't important or necessary but you are also renting during the summer season, the weather apparently can get a little out of character occasionally. Please be aware too that at some time you are going to have to trim or remove trees, otherwise you are going to lose your view of the beautiful mountains. We did spend time on the deck, primarily early morning before we would venture out or later in the evenings as we relaxed from a busy, active day, the deck furniture could use an upgrade with some better padding. We were also disappointed that there weren't more TV's available, primarily in the children's quarters. John Bischof St. Louis, Mo.

Beautiful views, Clean, well equipped

This was an amazing property. The Mountain View’s were stunning. The property was very clean. It had everything we could have needed - games, everything for the kitchen and plenty of room. The kids loved the pool table and we’re all enjoyed the hot tub.

No hot tub!!

I wish - for the money we had no hot tub and our property manager told us they knew it when we checked in. No refund to accommodate. I know this property management companies any responds like it’s the reviewers problem but no response when you have a problem. I got a call today - two days after we left about the smoke detector not working! When he realizes we already left, he hung up on me!!!! Beware - and watch, they will make this appear it’s me and not them!!!

Million Dollar View

Our group of 13 from south Mississippi can't put into words hw amazing our vacation was at your amazing place. The pictures online don't even do it justice. There was plenty of room for all 13 of us. The house was stocked with everything from shampoo, lotion, garbage bags, and even kitchen spices. There was even coffee! The view from this house captures the most amazing sunrises, especially the king bed room upstairs. The kids had an amazing time playing in the backyard building snowmen and having snowball fights. The location of the house is great for snow tubing, skiing, snowmobiling, ice fishing, etc... The house manager sent us numerous recommendations and they were all rated 100%! We will be back for sure!!!!!!!

Wonderful on most counts

Overall, this was a fantastic venue for a 75th birthday celebration; we loved the location and view, home amenities and decor, plentiful kitchen appliances, and it suited the needs of our large group perfectly. The only drawbacks were a broken bathroom cabinet and, in separate bathroom, the shower hadn't been properly cleaned. The latter was rectified within a couple hours of notifying the local management.

Great for families

This location is great for all the activities in and around winter park. We played on the Fraser River trail, went to the winter park resort and spent a day at day at Grand lake. All thing are within a 20/30 minute drive. Spent most nights cooking dinner at the house and relaxing in the hot tub. Great vacation!

Great house, amenities and location for any season

My wife and I have stayed at this property several times (summer, fall and winter) and have enjoyed the peace and quiet of the property, while still being conveniently close to places like Winter Park, Fraser, Devils Thumb Ranch and Grand Lake. Usually some wildlife to see (deer and moose) and there is a 27 hole golf course (Pole Creek GC) 5 minutes away, across Hwy 40. The house is well appointed, very comfortable and user friendly inside with very comfortable sofas, chairs and dining area, and all the necessary kitchen appliances, kitchenware, bedding, etc., plus a great hot tub on the back deck. The views from the decks are spectacular and there is even a loveseat-swing on a rise about 30 yards from the house that offers beautiful, unobstructed views of Winter Park Ski Area and the surrounding mountains. We love this place and it is just an easy 90 minutes from Denver. We will be back for sure in 2019.

The Perfect Mountain Getaway

I've stayed at this property during the winter and summer. Both times, the cabin was ready for us upon arrival with the hot tub already warmed up! This cabin is a great way to disconnect and enjoy the company of your friends and/or family with beautiful surrounding scenery. You are not going to want to leave once you arrive. The home accommodates a large party with beds for 14 people. There are multiple bedrooms for couples along with three full bathrooms. The interior decoration is superb, every room is different. The large kitchen, hot tub, large porch, and super cute swing on the hill are additional amenities that make this cabin a great pick for a group weekend!

Amazing Experience!

What an amazing mountain getaway! My wife and I had the pleasure of visiting this stunning property and were completely blown away by the attention to detail taken in not only the finishes of the property but also the amenities. We absolutely loved the house slippers and hot tub along with the private sledding hill complete with a gorgeous view of the valley below. All details of listing were completely accurate and the price was right on budget. This house would be ideal for a large family or multiple families to stay. Plenty of space, already stocked with games and entertainment!

Breathtaking Mountain Home

Gratuitous long-range views backdropped my gaze while unwinding after a long day playing in the Colorado Rocky Mountains. The fireplace crackled with warmth, cutting through the sharp coldness of the falling snow. The grill sizzled while cooking our steaks, even at below freezing temperatures. The kitchen was fully stocked with plenty of wares for the inner gourmand. The TV remote was an extension of my hand, working quickly and flawlessly, like a heart surgeon, to find the best movie on Netflix. After dinner we slipped into the warmth of the hot tub and let the jets massages our bodies. Over my 16 years in Colorado I have rented 50+ homes in the high country for hiking, skiing, commemorating, and relaxing. We could not have asked for a more perfect home for weekend.

If you were to choose one place this is it.

I would like to divide this opinion into two sections. The first one will be related to the house itself and second one to the host. The house itself is perfect. The pictures don't reflect that space that is inside. Everything is renewed and perfect for anyone who is used to staying is the nicest hotels around the world. The hot tub is an astonishing place to sip on prossecco and admire stars late at night. Bedrooms are perfect for a family stay, all members can find setup they want to the most. The basics not to be mentioned as obvious - tidy, prepared in a perfect way and not even one thing which I could complain about. Tabernash itself is a city which has all the benefits of Winter Park without a crowd. Being small it offers a great place to dine - Tabernash Tavern which is a perfect getaway on days when one does not feel like cooking. The host himself - Jeremy was truly a great help in all aspects of a perfect stay. He took care of all the basics like flexibility of arrival time, detailed instructions and responsiveness to all queries. He also was kind enough to advice on local attractions, support us with the taxi phone number to go places and even provide us local recommendations on places to eat and drink. We decided to come over for a wedding and being users of AirBnB we must say that this stay was our number one and will not be beaten anytime soon. Beautiful, comfortable home.

Such a wonderful home. Beautifully decorated and had everything we could imagine to make our stay fun, from games, a pool table to a slow cooker and as grill!

Great place for a large group.

Great property. Our group was rather large and there were several children with us. However, there was never a problem with the grownups being able to find a space of their own to drink wine, play games, etc. Overall, everything was clean, well kept, and the furniture was nice. It didn’t feel like a rental at all. It truly felt like staying in a friend’s home.

Beautiful Home with Amazing Views!

This home was perfect for our group of 9 adults. The beds, linens and down comforters were very cozy. The place felt homey with beautiful art on the walls, well-equipped kitchen, fireplace, pool table, games, washer & dryer and more. We appreciated having a few things in the cabinets to get us started, i.e. coffee and spices. The owners have put lots of extras into this home. After each day of skiing there was ample space to put our gear; then jump into the hot tub and watch the sunset! A great end to a perfect day! I don’t use all hot tubs but this one was clean, as was the entire home. Mary Jane was a fun mountain without all of the glitz… And the best for last…What amazing views in every direction. Sunrise and sunset - from the same relaxing deck. This is a perfect place to stay, winter or summer. We will be back! 5+++ stars
