Welcome to Blackrock Manor, a one-of-a-kind luxury chalet in Wintergreen that sleeps 16. Experience spectacular mountain views from all levels. Watch the sunset over the mountains from our signature “Eagles Nest.” Indulge in the indoor spa, then relax in the hot tub. The chalet is less than 1 mile to the slopes and a few minutes’ drive to all the dining and entertainment at Wintergreen. Just two doors down is Blackrock park, which boasts a fantastic hiking trail that goes right by our backyard. If you’re willing to venture a bit further, some of the best hiking trails in the state are off the Blue Ridge Parkway (15 minutes from the cabin), two sandy-beach-entrance lakes plus a community pool for swimming, and over dozen wineries, breweries, and distilleries within a 30 minute drive.
The home layout is as follows:
Upper level:
(Note: main entrance enters this level with zero steps from the flat upper driveway)

- Primary living room with sectional reclining sofa, working propane fireplace, and big screen TV
- Dining area for 10, plus an addition table that seats 4, plus room for 4 more at the kitchen bar
- Additional couch seating area to enjoy conversation and views.
- Large, fully stocked kitchen with granite counters and island, stainless appliances, and gas range. Drip coffee and Keurig machines provided.
- BR 1: Primary bedroom with king bed and upper deck access. Ensuite bathroom features jetted tub and steam shower
- Half bath
- Upper deck features multiple sitting areas, dining tables for 8 and 4, and a propane grill and fire table (propane provided for each)
Middle level:
(Note: lower driveway can access this level with zero steps)
- Additional living room with big screen TV and wetbar with wine cooler, additional minifridge, and microwave
- BR 2: King bed with ensuite bathroom
- BR 3: King bed with ensuite bathroom
- BR 4: 2 queen beds with ensuite bathroom
- BR 5: King bed with dedicated work space. *Note: this bedroom does not have a bathroom, so bathroom options include using one of the other ensuite bathrooms on this level, or going downstairs to spa area bathroom

- Middle level deck features multiple sitting areas and a table with seating for 4

Lower level:
- Game room with pool table, foosball table, arcade (which took the place of the basketball game), and TV

- Lower level deck has 7 person hot tub with privacy fencing and amazing views
- Lighted walkway down to the Eagle’s Nest sitting area with two custom-built curved benches and propane fire table
Other things to note:
- Blackrock Manor is pet friendly! We allow up to 2 dogs with a $200 pet fee (total, not per pet or per night).
- We are open to hosting small weddings or other events, but only with advance notice before booking. Additional charges may apply, and we may decline certain requests. Do not book this property if you intend on having more than 16 people at the property at any time, without checking with us first.
- Wintergreen offers hiking, skiing, snowboarding, tubing, swimming, dining, spa, ropes course, golfing, and much more.
- The two driveways can easily fit 6-7 vehicles.
- Wifi is fast with a strong signal throughout the house and decks. Four of the five bedrooms, plus both living rooms and the game room, feature smart TVs where you can access all the main streaming services.
- We provide a fully stocked coffee bar with multiple coffee drip and Keurig options
- Linens and towels provided
- Guests can enjoy free community pool access in the summer season (though the HOA rules stipulate no more than 6 guests at a time, and the permitted hours are 2-6pm).
- Pack n play and high chair provided
- We do require a separate rental agreement, which we will send a link to e-sign after you book. There are no additional fees beyond those listed here.
