The location of this rental is fantastic. Some outdoor furniture for the deck (off dining area) would have been appreciated with the warm weather and beautiful sunsets. The upper bunk is missing guard rails and is not safe for use. A metal spatula would have been helpful when BBQ'ing -- only plastic options. When coming in from the hill, we thought some hooks in the lower hallway would have been a good addition as a place to hang clothing. We struggled to control the heat in the main room, so this space was pretty hot (this might have just been our fault).

We also appreciate your suggestions regarding the outdoor furniture, kitchen utensils, and additional hooks in the entryway. Feedback like yours helps us identify small improvements that can make an even bigger difference for future guests. Thank you as well for bringing the bunk bed guard rail and heating concerns to our attention. Guest safety and comfort are our top priorities, and we will be following up with our team to inspect these items. We appreciate you choosing to stay with Bear Country and hope to welcome you back to Sun Peaks again in the future!

Overall happy with our experience. It was not perfect and can be improved but does not take away from the experience; but first time renters may be a caught a little off guard.Host was good however was not responding via vrbo chat, but rather through email. not the biggest deal but it took a little bit to figure out most things on our own. Did not affect the trip. Kitchen cooking utensils/knives board basics could be better, main complaint would be the lack of sharp knives for prep. There was a sharpener on the knife block, but it was not in good condition. was the lack of good condition spatula (again, not the biggest issue in the world)If we were not cooking as much for as many people, it would not have been an issue - overall minor impact to the overall impact. No drying rack for any basic handwashing, (again, no big deal), we did the best we could.

Thank you for the very valuable feedback, and we are glad that overall you were happy with your experience. Our team does communicate often via email and we do apologize for any confusion that caused, I will be sure to pass this feedback to our reservations team. Thank you for your comments regarding the kitchenware specifically the dull knives and basic utensils (and not sharp knife sharpener), we will ensure this feedback is passed through to the property owner. We understand the impact this may have had on making meals and do apologize. We greatly appreciate the time you took to leave us feedback as it allows us to continually improve and provide guests with the best experience. We hope to welcome you back in the future for a better experience!

Great location

Pros-Location is good and we enjoyed the hot tub. Condo accommodated 9 of us very comfortably. Cons-When we arrived the garage and front entrance needed to be sweep. There was a lot of gravel and dirt in the garage and debris at the front door entrance. The kitchen pantry floor had a large pile of dust and dog hair. Several of the light fixtures are full of bugs need to be cleaned.
