Warm and Beautiful Woodhaven Townhome at Sun Peaks

Wonderful and warm ski-in/out townhome in the desirable Woodhaven community, East Village. Minutes from Morissey and Orient lifts, and short 15 min walk to the main village!

I welcome you to my 1700 square foot ski resort home that comfortably sleeps 9 adults (10 with kids) in four bedrooms, serviced by three full bathrooms, two of which are ensuite.

There is a warm fireplace waiting for your return from your day on the mountain, and a new hot tub in a private back yard area (not exposed to the road like so many other homes in Sun Peaks!).

Ski-in and out from the front door, only a short walk to the Morissey-Orient lift, and return home by way of the East-Village Ski-way. The Woodhaven complex is the perfect place to immediately access Nordic skiing trails, just across the street.

In summer, enjoy the brand new tennis and pickleball court across the street near P5, or visit extensive hiking and mountain biking trails right outside your door. Woodhaven backs onto the 15th hole of Sun Peaks' only golf course.

Whatever the season, enjoy stunning views of Mount Morissey from your front window and outdoor deck! Only a 15 minute walk to the main village for dining, shopping, grocery and pubs, or catch the local shuttle if you want to head to Burfield area across town.

The kitchen at Woodhaven-9 is well appointed with stone countertops, dishwasher, refrigerator with ice maker, coffee maker (both Keurig or drip coffee maker), toaster, slow cooker, outdoor BBQ, hand blender, bakeware - everthing you need to cook full meals for your entire family or group. Make your apres-ski martinis here, with the available shaker and a cabinet of glassware options for wine and cocktails. Everything you need to prepare and enjoy a full holiday meal is all right here.

You can stay connected during your stay with Optik Cable tv, Wifi, and TVs able to connect to your favourite streaming services on 3 televisions in the home.

Keep your car in the heated garage, with room for 1-2 more vehicles on site, and additional parking across the street in the P5 lot. Lots of room here to secure all of your bike, ski and golf gear.

Great ski in ski out townhouse

Woodhaven is a beautiful spot on Sun Peaks resort. The ski in and ski out are fantastic for families with kids who want fresh tracks and last runs. The unit layout is fantastic for two families looking for a cozy ski weekend. Host was great to work with!

Great Week at Sun Peaks

Great space overall. Space was quiet and had lots of room for our family. Probably our favorite thing was having the private area outside where the hot tub was. My wife and I would have our coffee and read there every morning before the kids got up.

I tried to fill out this survery twice....but the questions are not displayed. I was able to read the first two then the rest went blank. We enjoyed our stay. The only thing was, we were told there would be coffee supplied. There was for the keurig but not the maker. Oh well, gave us an opportunity to check out the Blue Bird market.....Thanks.

Excellent Stay. Very Happy.

Nice welcoming chalet. Even better than shown online. Ski in and Ski out. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Only minor points: Kettle didn’t turn off automatically. Please replace. Lights on thermostats stay on creating a blue glow that doesn’t go away. Trash situation was a bit confusing.

There is nothing like waking up to a snowy mountain morning! It is such a treat to be able to enjoy gorgeous 4-season family fun at Sun Peaks.

Woodhaven is a jewel of Sun Peaks residences. It is higher end complex in the East Village - close enough to the main village to enjoy its amenties, but far enough away to ensure a peaceful mountain experience.

This property has a fantastic ski-in/out location in winter, and is only a 15 minute walk to the main village, with hiking, nordic skiing, mountain biking and golf opportunities immediately outside the front door. East Village is ideal if you wish to be out of the noise of the main village, but still want to be close enough to it access all of the amenities.

This specific unit at Woodhave is fantastic for its private hot tub area - the hot tub is not sitting on the roadside like most places in Sun Peaks. I really like the two king size beds, and two ensuite bathrooms upstairs. The stone countertops and well equipped kitchen make for a great place for cooking and enjoying family meals around the table (especially at the holidays!). My family and friends have spent hours playing board games here (selection of games available) with no shortage of craft cocktails and wine. Cozy all the way.
