Dispointed the television did not work, the DVD player also did not work. The lock on the back door did not work locked us out. Could use more table lamps. Enjoyed the fire pit outside. Not sure it was up to our expectations.

It was great to get away and reconnect with our family and nature . ATV trails were so fun! Also the fishing at near by lake was amazing! The property was clean and very nice. The property owner was awesome! 10/10 would go again .

The only thing that confused me were instructions for sanitizing dishes which made think that maybe the water wasn’t safe for drinking. I requested a late check out and the owner was easy to reach and oked that. Very satisfactory

We went to ride sxs on the trails. The location to the trails was great. The cabin was nice and suited are needs.

Cozy Cabin

The purpose for our trip was to ride the ATV trails. We stay in a lot of VRBOs to do this year round and this one was definitely a nice little cabin. It has all the things you need (towels, dishes, kitchen appliances, box fans in the rooms) to avoid packing the little extra things from home. Check in/out was very easy and quick,there was a lack of communication with the host staff, I had sent 2 emails, and one of the 2 was never responded to. They easily accommodate early check in if they can, which is A plus. The biggest complaint is one of the neighbors who made the stay less than desirable. We came home one night from the trail and he was shouting at us. This incident caused us to be Leary of keeping out ATV/SXS at our cabin, which created a little bit more running around on our end. As a result of this it was not an ATV friendly environment because of him. Be careful if this is also your intended purpose for booking. Otherwise, overall it was a nice little place.

Quiet and Peaceful Spot to Get Away

This place is just beautiful. While the size is listed as only 600 square feet, it actually feels much bigger because of the loft/second floor. The setting is in some lovely pine trees, and it is quiet and peaceful. A perfect spot for a couple of introverts like us to just be. Thanks!

cabin and yard

The cabin was fine but the rooms were smaller than anticipated. The rear yard, chairs, picnic table ete\c needed to be swept or raked up. It looked messy and unkept. There was no coffee pot omly a keurug machine. We were visiting other family in the area and did not cook at the cabin.

We couldn’t get the AC to work and it was really hot. Lots of bugs in the house. And the beds downstairs were pretty bad.

Spent 3 nights here for Muzzleloader hunting. Worked great enough room and very affordable place to stay. Conveniently located close to public land, nice bars, casino and Jimmys In Between.

Property owner was unwilling to work with me after unforeseen weather closed atv trails in late October, tried to get 50% back wouldn’t do it. Communication was also very poor.

Great cabin for just two adults

Very nice cabin for two adults and maybe one child. In great condition. I would suggest taking down the animal rug hanging up on the wall. Does not look very clean at all.

2023 UTV Trip

Quick trip North for side by side trail ride. Great location to local restaurants and access to the trail. Four people total with plenty of room to spare. Would stay here again. Very accommodating for early check in and we were able to check out and leave our trucks/trailers at property while we rode trails the final day.

Africa Loft

One queen bed in the loft. Two single beds in room off the living room. Many amenities are provided, such as towels and soap. Unique animal pelts. Small but nice living space. We are usually only there to sleep and riding trails the rest of the time.

Hatfield weekend

Was just right for coming back to relax, cook , and sleep after spending the day at the beach or golfing. We didnt realize you have to furnish your own toilet paper though and only had a roll and a half when we arrived. Othherwise it was nice cabin.

Quit place. Still needs to TLC

Finding the location was easy. Very quiet area near the lake. Loved watching the wildlife out the side window while eating meals. A number of cheese and winery shops were easy to drive to. A number of maintenance items were identified after check in that needs to be addressed. Would recommend adding more lamps and bring back to table versus an island which was hard to eat at. Safety issue with the stairs as rails are loose and needs a vertical rail to help people with knee issues.

Quaint, slightly dirty property in ATV area

The first plank in the deck fell off when we stepped on it (we moved it out of the way for our stay). The provided window fan shorted out a circuit breaker (we flipped the circuit breaker back and ignored the fan). The decor was odd for BRF but as advertised. The carpeted stairs up to the top loft were filthy (our feet were covered with sand by the time we reached the top). The top bedroom was less than clean (false eyelash found in the bed, cheetos underneath). The ATVs went until 1am. Someone started using a portable saw around 8. All in all, it was a decent place, but they definitely did *not* earn their higher-than-average cleaning fee.
