Our stay was unacceptable due to profound cleanliness and safety failures.1. Critical Check-in & Safety FailureWe spent an extensive period outside in the cold, dark neighborhood due to multiple key issues after a long day:Initial lockbox was incorrect.Correct lockbox keys failed to unlock the essential top deadbolt.This lack of preparation forced us to use a third entrance and caused immediate distress.2. Profound Cleanliness & Health ConcernsYour assurances of cleanliness were demonstrably false. This is a partial list of the filth encountered:Bathroom Filth: The bathroom was obviously never cleaned. It contained: feces stains in the toilet, toothpaste/saliva on the sink/mirror, hair/dirt in the tub, and a large wad of saliva on the shower wall. We had almost no tissue or paper towels.Linens & Dander: I was forced to purchase my own sheets and towels. Pillows had undeniable long white hairs. Apparent pet dander caused constant sneezing.Secondary Room: The alternate shower room had a strong smell of cat urine and a severely clogged drain.Pests: We found many spiderwebs and killed spiders that dropped from the ceiling/fan area.Knowing the bathroom was this soiled made us wonder what else was contaminated, leading to total discomfort. Her response: I hope that you are having an excellent stay so far at Welcoming 2-bedroom house with AC in Oakland!I would like to remind you that check-out time is by 11 AM, unless explicitly agreed otherwise.

It was a very dirty place floor were sticky, nothing was wipe down even remotes were sticky. Linen on the beds was dirty, like someone sleep there and just made the bed in the morning. Room down stair smell really bad. One closes full of more dirty sheets. The shower was full of hair. Outside the property was full of trash. Neighbor did not feel safe at all. Beside all that the blinds don't even cover the entire window. It was my sister and me, ended up leaving after one night, contacted the host that we will checking early, a complete day early. I explain all this thru message its been more that 24 hours and host has not answer my message. Horrible experience.

We weren't able to stay at this property as it was in an unsafe neighborhood. Then as soon as you opened the front door you were met with a strong animal urine and feces odor. There was a big hole at the bottom of the door where big rodents could enter. The bed mattress were like cardboard. It just look do unsanitary. The rugs is what we think was the problem with the strong pet smell. The sofa had been torn up by an animal at the bottom. There were ants crawling on the tub in the bathroom. We state our complaints to the host with no response and to Vbro with them saying it looks clean to them. They noth refuse to refund my money. I will not be recommending or every booking with Vbro again as they are more concerned with making money then what is posted on their site for rental and customer satisfaction.
