Fantastic central location in Clear Lake

Very well-equipped and comfortable house with a friendly and responsive host. We celebrated the 4th of July holiday here and had plenty of space to host a large family potluck. The house is also a prime location to watch the parade and is walkable to downtown restaurants and bars but still nice and quiet at night. Would definitely book this property again!

Main Street House

A welcome basket greeted us as we entered. The house was clean with spacious bedrooms. Kitchen had everything we needed. The location allowed us to keep the cars parked and walk to downtown, the lake and other locations. The garage was appreciated. Provided a wonderful setting for a family get together.

Family Fun

We enjoyed another fun few days at your house. Our grandchildren love the upstairs playroom, and the change to twin beds in one of the upstairs bedrooms worked well for our family. All the bedrooms are nice sizes, and we could easily put a blowup mattress in a couple bedrooms if grandchildren wanted to sleep close to their parents. It is fun to be close enough to downtown that even the younger grandchildren can ride their bikes to the downtown attractions. We enjoyed the basket of snacks you left for us, and we appreciate the well stocked kitchen since we cook all our meals at the house. Thanks for another fun getaway. You are great hosts, and I am sure we will be back! Nancy and family

Better than pictures

Hosts were flexible and great communicators. The small things like a basket of snack foods and a toiletry selection were so thoughtful. We cooked, baked and grilled. Kitchen was fully stocked w utensils...much more than I've experienced at other vrbo's. Excellent location. Close to downtown activities and the lake. We could tell bedding and pillows were new. Very clean and cute decor. I strongly recommend.

Charming home close to everything Clear Lake has to offer!

We stayed over the holiday weekend with family and utilized every square inch and amenity this charming property had to offer! Not only was the space perfectly suited to our 7 adult, 3 child family, it came with so many extra little perks that made our stay there absolutely perfect! Our kids had their cousins over to play in the bonus play room (fully stocked with toys, books, and rocking chair), we grilled out with family on the patio, used the sand toys and beach towels at city beach, ate every single snack Doug and Sally left in the welcome basket, and had about two dozen extended family over for yard play and snacks. We ventured downtown at least once daily and always walked because everything is within 5 blocks. Absolutely perfect vacation home for anyone visiting Clear Lake! The hosts made it very clear that if we needed anything at all, just reach out. But because this home was perfectly clean and stocked, we did not need anything at all! We will be back to enjoy it all again next year!

Great extended family stay

+qqqqqSpent 3 days enjoying this spacious, clean, and well-stocked home. It comfortably held our 8 person family and the location just couldn't be beat. We were able to walk or ride our bikes everywhere. We especially enjoyed the front porch, where we gathered every morning and evening.

We had a great time in this clean, well stocked house! The downtown and lake are super close. We shopped, ate downtown, went to a movie, grilled at the house one night. Enjoyed family and made great memories!
