This property was not as represented in the Vrbo listing. The photos made it appear clean, updated, and well-maintained, but when we arrived, the home looked run down, dirty, and as if people had just left right before we entered. The door keypad/lock was loose and appeared to be falling off, making entry difficult. Inside, we found dirty dishes in the dishwasher, a dirty/broken dishwasher, missing refrigerator handles, dirty carpets and drawers, dirty bedding/comforters, dirty glasses, a dirty towel left hanging in the bathroom, toilet paper left in the toilet, dog hair and what appeared to be a urine stain upstairs, and fresh dog feces in the backyard. The dryer did not work, and the pool pump was not on. The home felt lived in and not properly cleaned or prepared for guests. Certain areas were also off limits, including the garage, one upstairs bedroom, and part of the driveway, which added to our instinct that people were living on the premise during our stay as we heard voices and a dog bark before we entered the home. We contacted the host about the issues, but no refund was offered. Because of the cleanliness concerns, safety concerns, and the major difference between the listing and actual property, we left and booked a hotel about an hour away. I am also uncomfortable that the host has my license/ID information after this dispute, and I hope it is handled appropriately. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this property.

Host communicated well. BUT the jacuzzi didn’t work and when we checked out the host and pool tech accused us of messing with the equipment and the tech while they were trying to service it during our checkout. Why would we bother someone for no reason? Additionally the host was rude about the amount of trash IN the trash can. We cleaned up the entire property including trash left by previous guests and he was rude about how there was so much trash in the trash can.

To clarify for future guests, this reservation was booked for a limited guest count, but the property was used for a large gathering/party with approximately 45 people, which was not approved and violated the house rules and platform policy. During and after the stay, our team documented excessive trash, policy violations, and damage to the property, including damage to the bathroom/shower area. These issues were reported through the proper platform and insurance claim process with photos and supporting documentation. We always aim to communicate respectfully and resolve issues quickly, including the jacuzzi/service concern mentioned. However, we must also enforce our house rules to protect the property, neighbors, and future guests.

No volvería, nada acorde a lo que ofrecen, no estuvo en tiempo para check-in no funcionaban las televisiones ni el jacuzzi, comedor solo 4 personas no es el de la foto, hamaca no estaba e condición los asadores sucios, jardín sin limpieza, con escremento, roedores en patio, camas incómodas sin sábanas, regaderas incómodas.
