Charming house next to the beach!

The house was very clean and very big! We had to get used to the 3 floors and having the main living space on the 3rd floor as we live in NY . A tiny bit outdated but overall very cute. The pool and hot tub was amazing .. it was a short walk to the beach . Around 10 minutes! The host was very responsive when needed. We had a great time! Close to the grocery store and shops . We loved the area!

Summer Getaway

Our family had never been to the Outer Banks and chose this house as our home away from home. We are so glad we did! It is in a great location, a few minutes walk to the beach, and you can’t beat the private pool. Everything was clean and the owner was very responsive. We are looking forward to returning!

Nice place, thought it was closer to the beach

It’s about a 10 minute walk to the beach. I thought it was much closer. Nice area, nice pool. The cleaning crew could definitely do a better job.

Wonderful Corolla Home

Eric is an excellent host, very quick to answer communications. House for me was in the perfect location. Would definitely rent from again if in the area.

Peaceful Vacation

Some minor issues with the property, but the owner kept in touch to inform us of any repairs that were in the process. Lots of room for family & friends. Quiet neighborhood.

Nice Stay

This house was very spacious and had a great lay out. We had more than enough room. We came in early April so the pool wasn’t open, but we got to enjoy the hot tub which was great. It rained and was cold the first 2 days we were there, and my only real complaint was that the main living room’s tv didn’t work our entire trip so we couldn’t have our family movie nights when it rained. The property owner was very responsive , but unfortunately couldn’t get anyone out to replace the tv. There were also some ants in the dishwasher when I went to use it. I notified the property owner and again he was responsive. I wasn’t expecting him to get to get rid of them during our stay, but just wanted him to know for the next guests. Also, bring your own hair dryer, detergent, and toiletries. Overall it was a great stay, a lovely home, a very responsive owner, and good location. Corolla isn’t a move the hustle and bustle like Kitty Hawk, but there are supermarkets, restaurants, and other things to do in the vicinity. Would recommend this home!

Couldn’t have asked for a better house or host

I planned a OBX trip with 10 people total and Eric was extremely accommodating and responsive. Any questions or concerns I had was answered within 10-15 minutes. House easily fit all of us, open space on the top floor is extremely nice. Jealous the pool isn’t open for us (being mid march) but would recommend to anyone and would love to come back in the summer. Around a 5 min walk to the beach, very easy walk.

Awesome Family Vacation

Pura Vida was an excellent property for our large family. Everything was better than described. We couldn’t have wanted more from the property but would suggest going to the area earlier in the season. Many of the local establishments had already closed even though we were there for Labor Day week.

Great house in Corolla

Our family of 6 adults and 4 kids had a blast at this wonderful Corolla house. We absolutely loved the pool and the hot tub was great at night. The neighborhood was quiet and the walk to the beach was a breeze. We had plenty of room to spread out and the kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans. At the time we stayed, there was no blender so if you desire a frozen beverage, you may want to bring your own. Otherwise, I couldn’t recommend this enough. Eric was great to work with and was very responsive to all messages during the reservation process. Thanks for a great week!

Had a great vacation

We had a great time staying at this home. The home is an easy 9 minute walk to the beach and the pool is large and clean. Ample outdoor seating and the covered front deck is an inviting space for drinks after dinner. Thank you!

Beautiful home, great for our group

This beautiful home was great for our gathering of 11. The home had everything we needed! We forgot our crockpot but the owner meant Fully stocked kitchen!!! The linens were soft, and although the essentials were there, there were more pillows than cases. The hot tub was nice! The owner is a quick responder and communicates well with renters. That’s important to us. Overall our time at Pure Vida was extremely enjoyable.

My wife and I live in Frederick, MD. We fell in love with the Outer Banks as kids. Eric loves to fish from the surf, sound charters as well as deep sea. We truly love sharing our piece of paradise and want to make sure our guests have a great time. We keep up with the property and are constantly updating appliances, furniture, bedding and decor to keep our guests happy.

We loved the open concept. We both have large families and this property is perfect for entertaining. It is also a short walk to the beach which was perfect for us. The neighborhood is very quiet and perfect place to get away from the day to day grind.

Our property stands out from the rest because we are some of the few owners that truly keep up with the property. Before buying, we would see pictures online for properties we would rent and were frequently disappointed with how run down they were compared to the pictures. We make major investments each year and many of our guests are repeat guests each year.
