Great location and ocean views

This condo was true to the pictures online. Great, central location. The ocean view was amazing on the 18th floor! Walk out right to the beach from the 2nd floor. The unit was cute and cozy and after a good cleaning it felt like a home away from home The downside is that the unit and building were a little outdated and the lobby had an awkward smell. But overall a great experience.

Whoever is in charge of cleaning should be fired.

There were two bags of linens inside the door at arrival. Otherwise we would not have known anyone had been in the property between guests. Everything was covered in dust. The floors were awful - we swept up piles of dirt, but the floors themselves were still grimy and filthy. So we spent two hours the first night just scrubbing the floors by hand (there was no mop). Not only should we get our cleaning fee back, but we should have gotten paid for doing the first real cleaning the unit has seen all summer. There was a lighter and pack of cigarettes left on a chair. The unit still smelled like smoke and took a couple days to air out. Lightbulbs were burnt out in multiple places - worst of all in a bathroom making that feel like a cave. We found out the hard way that the breaker for the hot water heater had been turned off and got stuck in cold showers after visiting the beach. Apparently you get a bag of linens, but have to put sheets on the bed yourself - that was odd. Kids were really disappointed that the bunk bed (in the pictures when we booked) had been replaced with a queen bed. Overall, we liked the location and the "bones" of the unit were fine, but maintenance and cleanliness were awful. Definitely the most disappointing rental we have seen from a cleaning standpoint. We cleaned everything on arrival and it felt good the rest of the week. The unit was left far cleaner after of week of us living there than it had been when we arrived.

Condo was dirty and substandard. Good location with nice view. Do not plan to stay in the Capri again.

It’s a little old

This place is definitely dated. The hallways are not really attractive but the unit itself was ok. It needs some updates, like a total kitchen redo, especially the floor, and the mass tee bath would be so much better if the shower was like the second bathroom. I couldn’t bring myself to step in that tub, so I showered in the second bath. The only light in the second bedroom burnt out, with no replacement bulb to be found. We had to go to the local linen store and buy pillows because those in the condo were disgusting—stained and old and mostly feather, which is never good for a rental due to allergies. So it cost us $28 for four pillows—quite cheap to make a big difference. I would have left them, but for the price we paid to stay, I think not. Also, the place is just cluttered with personal items, way too many old magazines, etc. the closets were also very unkempt and riddled with personal items. The view was amazing for sunrise and sunsets, and despite everything being less than perfect, we made it our home for my birthday weekend. We would not stay in this building again, however. We prefer cleaner and more modern.
