Perfect house for a family holiday. Plenty of space for 2 families. Main living area was perfect for gathering by the fireplace. The downstairs game/movie room was great for watching movies and playing video games. And the garage with a basketball court was a hit with the kids. Kitchen was well stocked. Everything you could need. Even had ice squares for my whiskey cup. Very thought out with details and everything you need to make your stay comfortable. They even had sleds we used to slide down some hills and diveway when it snowed! Location was great, with just a short drive to main street and the gandalas in Breckenridge. Also super close to Frisco and nearby hikes and plenty of places to see and things to do. Neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. Watching the stars from the hot tub was prefect. Host was super responsive and accomdating. We would highly recommend.

Beautiful Mountain Home

We had a great time in this gorgeous home! There were plenty of things to do to to keep the kids occupied when they weren’t on the mountain. The accommodations were outstanding.

We absolutely loved staying at this gorgeous home! Close to town and all attractions. Love the layout of the home, it's perfect for mutiple families. The kids loved the media/game room downstairs and the adults loved the hot tub. We used it every night after our fun filled days! I would highly recommend this house and we are already planning our trip back next year.

Family vacation

Great labor day weekend at Sapphire Lodge! Plenty of room for our whole family....8 adults and 8 kids!! We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay here...a few minor things the house could have used but overall it was a great home for our annual Labor Day family get together!! The adults also enjoyed an incredible night out with dinner at Hearthstone Restaurant....amazing!!! Highly recommend it for anyone visiting Breckenridge.....

Perfect Place to Retreat

What a wonderful weekend we had in Colorado thanks to this property. It is in an ideal location, easy to access and close to skiing, restaurants, and shopping without losing the rustic appeal of a mountain lodge. Finish out is high-end, giving this lodge a luxury feel, rather than a well-worn ski town rental. The facilities were immaculate and well thought out making it easy to accommodate the 14 in our party. Common spaces are large making it easy to relax without feeling cramped. Everyone in our group was impressed from the moment we arrived and we will definitely be returning again.

This house is amazing and perfect for large groups ( yet still cozy). The minute you walk in, you will feel as if you are in that perfect mountain retreat. Impeccable furnishings, a gourmet kitchen stocked with all the pots and pans and dishes you could ever need on vacation. Great hot tub and outside patio with grill. The master bed and bath are better than any luxury hotel, complete with a cozy fireplace. Plenty of space, fantastic game room for keeping the kids and teens (and adults for that matter) occupied during down times. In my opinion, easily one of the nicest places I've stayed while on vacation. Enjoy-you'll be glad you booked it!

Great Mountain House!

This house was awesome! We stayed over the Fourth of July and had a great time! We had a number of younger kids with us, and we appreciated the cleanliness of the home and that it also included kid-friendly dishes (in addition to adult dishes). The home is in great shape and is obviously very well taken care of. We also had a great experience with the management company (Book by Owner). When it turned out the ovens weren't working, we called them and they had someone on the property within 15 minutes. When he wasn't able to repair the ovens, Book by Owner had a brand-new convection oven delivered to the home (on the Fourth of July). Great customer service. Fantastic all-around experience, and we will definitely be back!

Beautiful property, but encountered a long list of issues & poor host support. Real disappointment

This is a hard review to write because so much was good, but so much was also majorly flawed. Please consider we spent nearly 8000 dollars for an 8 night stay over thanksgiving and my birthday. GOOD -Property is beautiful, well located with great space -Hot Tub, gaming space and open living were wonderful -The amenities as listed are plentiful. If everything is working this property has everything you could want BAD -The cleanliness was some of the worst I have ever experienced in years of rentals -The property had a superficial clean. If you dared to look under or to side of furniture you found trash and huge dust. I don't think any furniture had been moved to clean for a long time. We found emply plastic bottles, packets of advil and a dirty black hanes tshirt -On arrival the previous tenants trash was still in the property. -The oven was also very smoky when turned on suggesting it is long overdue a clean -Previous tenants half used items were also left behind. We had half used shampoo in bathroom, milk in fridge and other fresh items in fridge/freezer. In a COVID world you would expect cleaning standards to be upped and this was not the case here UGLY -This comes down to two areas 1) things not working / being broken / wrong and 2) the lack of responsiveness and mixed support from the host who seemed to take exception to being asked to resolve anything. Suggesting we were demanding -On arrival we had a number of issues and shared with host via text message (Amy). This was the day before thanksgiving so some appreciation is required -Trash was full and cleanliness was not COVID standard as previously mentioned [emptied after 2 days] -Upper main oven was broken (no heat) which was going to cause a major issue to cook our family thanksgiving meal! [fixed on thanksgiving day taking three hours, unfortunately engineer smashed glass oven door causing a hazard for rest of stay - never resolved] -EnSuite to Master has a large Jacuzzi bath. Plug did not shut and so you could not fill the bath. Best bath in the property was not functional [Fixed after 5 days] -Garage door did not appear to have a remote door opener / code [ Fixed after 5 days] -In addition we had issues that required breakers to be reset. The breakers were situated behind a locked door -One morning we woke and the wifi was broke. Wanted to turn router off to reset but this too was behind a locked door. I would not stay here again on balance. Such a shame!

Better than Expected

We were greatly impressed with the property. We enjoyed our stay, and the kids loved playing basketball in the evenings. With such a beautiful, fully furnished home, we chose to stay in and cook each night instead of going into town for meals. Thanks for the wonderful memories! We hope to use the property again in the future!

Even better then expected!!

We pulled up to a gorgeous home! First things first, we had to do a walk around. To our surprise, there was a lot more space then was listing. This house is beautiful and inviting. The hot tub was very nice. The game room was a total bonus and one of the reasons we booked. Everyone was more then comfortable. We had a ton of snow while visiting. They made sure the drive way and road were plowed. Thanks again for the awesome stay!!

Perfect ski home!

We were so impressed with the design and spaciousness of this wonderful ski home. Gorgeous views from every window, evoking feelings of calmness and serenity. And the property management team couldn't have been more helpful, accommodating our late check out request. The basketball court was an amazing feature!

Everything you need

A group of us stayed here for a golfing and whitewater rafting trip. There was plenty of space and the game room got lots of use! Would stay again.

Perfect house in Breckenridge

The house was perfect for our group of friends having a mini reunion/ski trip. More than enough space including beds and bathrooms for our group of 13. The basketball court was a great amenity that we got to use, despite being reminded shortly into playing that we were at 9000 ft! The location was perfect. We were able to drive into town and be at the gondola in 10 minutes. Kitchen was fully stocked with more than enough plates, mugs, utensils, etc. After a long day of skiing, it was great to come back to the warm hot tub while we started preparing dinner. This place really had everything we needed and more. If you have a large group, this is a great house to stay in while you enjoy Breck.

Upon arrival we were taken aback how picturesque and stunning this house is. The home is beautiful and set in the perfect mountain setting. Once inside it got even better. This house IS mountain luxury. The property is beautifully furnished and equipped with everything you could possibly need. The location is amazing too. Situated just a short distance from all of the shopping, restaurants and ski lifts. I can't recommend this home highly enough. We have already been in touch with the management, who are amazing to deal with, and are planning another trip and staying here.

Amazing

The home was beautiful and a very open floor plan. Every bedroom was large and the master bedroom was like a resort! The kitchen was fully equipped which we enjoyed cooking. There were plenty of humidifiers throughout the home. The location is with in minutes of Breck, Keystone, and A-Basin. I would highly recommend this home for future stays.
