If you are looking to stay in a home where they did the bare minimum to fill the bill, this home is for you.
While set in a beautiful atmosphere, this home is underwhelming at best. You get the feeling that the owner, or operator just doesn't care. We had the thought that the kitchen was outfitted from garage sales or thrift stores. The blankets seemed like Grandma left them behind from 1955, complete with holes and that fine mustard orange.
One of our favorite things was the way the curtains in the window that the master bed sits up against are transparent. This was handy in the daytime because you could see outside while the drapes were closed. At night, you could clearly see right into the bed, especially the cabin next to you, whose balcony is 5 feet higher. I thought, 'I'll just close the blinds behind the curtains.' But in fact, there were none. Oh, and the third bonus is the way the sun glares directly onto the bed at 5:30 in the morning. Hope you're a morning person! Though this was helpful in viewing the spiders as they climbed across the sheets in the early morning. We only killed 24 in our 3 days in the home.
Their online communication process was good and helpful in telling us that someone from the property would be in contact with us. Unfortunately, their AI, was more personable than their personnel, as we were never contacted.
Oh and a non-operational fireplace in Sunriver is inexcusable, though this seems to have been the case for some time, as we went back to look at other reviews.
If you are looking to have an OKAY time of relaxing (kinda) book this gem now!
