The crow's nest offers an ocean view perfect for sunrises and morning coffee. A private driveway with parking for 3 cars is an added bonus. The home is cozy & beautiful. The only thing I would change is the sheets. They need to be a deepm pocket sheet. They wouldn't stay on the pillow top mattress which made it uncomfortable to sleep on. Everything else was great. Thank you.

My husband and I were looking for a home to visit our adult children, grand children and great grand children who live in Jacksonville and Yulee for a pre Christmas holiday/dinner together and The Charming Coastal Retreat fit all our expectations. We were thrilled that the photos displayed on VRBO matched what we experienced in person! We cooked a prime rib and roasted stuffed chicken dinner with all the fixings for our family of 7 Adults, 1 two and a half year old, and our newest member of the family a 1 month old great granddaughter. We had everything we needed. I brought all our own dining linen and some Christmas decorations from home to add some holiday charm. When the kids walked in they were full of awe and loved the house. It was so nice to enjoy our annual holiday get together in a warm and comfortable home environment instead of staying in a hotel and dining at a restaurant. We loved the short walk and or drive to the beach and the beautiful town of Fernandina Beach all lit up for the holidays. We also enjoyed dining out at The Salty Pelican and Peppers two other nights of our stay. The master bed was very comfortable we loved the high ceilings with wood accents. The decor was beautiful throughout the house and the endless decks were a real treat to enjoy the views and the secluded feel of the trees. Our 2 1/2 year old granddaughter loved the stairs and the whole house she kept us on our toes. It was a 10 rating for us and our family!

We had an excellent stay here with Amelia Island Rentals, the home was lovely and had a beautiful view of the ocean. The outdoor accommodations were very thoughtful and we especially liked the open feel of the home. Walking to the beach from here was very easy, less than 5 minutes away. There are also lots of great options nearby for food and entertainment, and we really enjoyed the weekend farmer's market in town. We would highly recommend this property, it was a great experience.
