This cabin was perfect for our group of 4. We flew into Colorado Springs, stocked up on food and supplies and headed to the cabin. It’s an easy drive and even the unpaved 2 miles to the cabin was fine. Entry was incredibly easy and they had the cabin ready for us early. We planned all breakfasts at the cabin and cooked most dinners there as well. Plenty of pans, utensils and plates. Large fridge, ice trays provided, nice sized pantry. They provided salt and pepper. If you plan to cook, bring a small bottle of oil and other seasonings. Beds were very comfortable with nice linens. They provided an oscillating fan which we used just for air movement and white noise for sleeping. It’s quiet out there!Bathroom space was sufficient. Nice showers and body wash , shampoo and conditioner provided. They get you started with two rolls of toilet paper. We were there 7 nights so we picked up extra for our stay. Nice bath towels and dark wash cloths for makeup removal. We used the sauna several times. It was a relaxing experience for us and definitely a perk of the cabin along with the front porch swing and two rocking chairs. We came from Texas and hestitated about no air conditioning in July, but the cabin stays cool. We had to use the heater a few times! WiFi was fast enough to stream a movie. We did day trips to Aspen, Breckenridge and Vail. All with different scenery on the way. It’s quiet, semi private— you will see neighbors from the porch. We saw squirrels, chipmunks and moose. Hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did!
