The S.S. is located just blocks from DTLB, Retro Row, and Alamitos Beach; so whether you’re here for the sunshine, surf, or strolls through history, this is a stay where you can truly chart your own course. 𓆝 𓆟 𓆞
Living Room + Workspace 🚢 📚💻
This will be the first room you are greeted by when you enter the home. A white brick faux fireplace serves as the focal point, flanked by built-in glass-front cabinets displaying carefully curated coastal décor, as well as books available for your enjoyment. Above the mantel, you’ll find a flat-screen Roku TV where you can log into all your favorite streaming services—perfect for unwinding after a day at the beach or exploring the city.
The space is divided for those who love to work and play hard! Nestled just behind the full-sized couch is the home’s dedicated work area. Quiet and cozy, this nook is ideal for remote work, reading, or simply reflecting after a day at the beach.
Kitchen 🍳
We can’t have a ship-themed home without calling back to the original, wooden ships from days of old. A warm and functional space, this kitchen is perfect for light cooking and casual dining. With all-new appliances, it is ideal for travelers who enjoy cooking or need a convenient spot to dine in—perfect for extended stays or relaxed weekend getaways.
Bedroom 1(Front) ⛵
This bright, minimalist bedroom features soft blue walls, natural light, and warm wood floors. A cozy navy bed and camel barrel chair add comfort and style, while the window AC keeps things cool. Simple, airy, and perfect for a restful stay. With the homes only dedicated reading nook, this space is perfect for the avid reader in your group!
Bedroom 2(Back) 🐟
We realize the decision of who gets what room can be a tough one, and that’s why we have tried to keep things as similar as possible! Though it is slightly smaller than the first, it boasts the same great set-up-–including window AC, mirrored closet, nightstands, playful lamps, and cozy queen sized bed.
Laundry and Bathroom 🧼
Enjoy the convenience of in-unit laundry with a full-size washer and dryer, located just outside the clean, well-equipped bathroom featuring a shower/tub combo, modern fixtures, and extra storage. Please note - the tub feature sadly is not functional just yet. Stay tuned!

This property is self check-in, but we are still available to help with any questions or concerns you may have through the platform`s messaging!
PARKING
Please note that there is no on-site parking available for guests. All designated parking spaces on the property are currently leased to other residents and are not available for visitor use. We kindly ask that you do not park in these spaces, as doing so may result in your vehicle being towed at the resident’s discretion.
Additionally, parking in the alleyway is not permitted under city regulations and may result in citation or towing. If you must book on a car-dependent trip, please note that Long Beach street parking is incredibly impacted in general. During the day you may get lucky and find a spot, but any host that promises street parking in this area may not be familiar with it. If you must park on the street, please note that street sweeping schedules are posted on signs; the street sweeping in front of the property is Monday and Tuesday.
STORAGE CABINETS
There are two cabinets in the closets that the cleaning team uses for their supplies and general storage, but the rest of the closets are all yours to use for clothing and other belongings!
OTHER HOMES ON PARCEL
Please note that this home is 4 of 4 stand-alone units. They have their own independent entrances and are private, but homes in this neighborhood tend to be a little closer together in general. Due to this, we find this area most ideal for small groups who plan on a quiet stay or active days exploring the City.
