Great Stay at the Barn

We had a wonderful Walla Walla visit, the Barn was a perfect home base. Very well appointed, super comfortable and cute. Enjoyed the generous patio. The host is so nice, and even our black lab felt right at home. Can’t wait to visit again!

Barn on Braden stay

Excellent property and Megan and Jeff were quality and friendly to do business with. Quiet rural location yet close to city amenities and many wineries near. Just a great VRBO experience.

Special place

This is an amazing property in a wonderful area. It is so close to the south side wineries and in a beautiful location. Megan and her family are great hosts, she gave us great recommendations and we even got a special wine tasting. If we are back in the area we will definitely stay again!

Romantic Getaway

This is the perfect place to have a romantic getaway. The location is perfect for visiting many of the wineries on bicycles on the Southside. The Barn is beautifully arranged with many amenities including a super soft bed with amazing pillows. We will definitely stay here again!

Great space

This spot has everything you need in a vrbo. Cute town nearby, a yard, parking, laundry, all the kitchen items you could imagine. The family that owns it is right on the property, super friendly but they give you space too. Great property, we hope to be back soon!

Stunning property

This place is truly magical! I’ve stayed at tons of VRBOs and this one stood out. The location was superb, the barn was beautiful and the property manager Meg, made our trip! She was full of information, accommodating and kind. We will be back!

Loved the barn!!!

This was the perfect place for our quick girls weekend in wine country! The barn was absolutely adorable and the outdoor area beautiful. The beds were comfortable, shower was great, kitchen and decor were super cute! The location was easy with ubers and we had an amazing time. The hosts were awesome, helpful and friendly! Would definitely recommend the barn to anyone visiting Walla Walla.

Four nights at the Barn.

A beautifully laid out and well constructed residence, adjacent to the owner's home but well screened and private, private driveway entrance, and a large and lovely, private and protected outdoor lounging, dining and fire pit area. Very close to but not right in town, with a decidedly rural feel. Many very nice touches, like ample towels, a welcoming bottle of wine, etc. My favorite was that the coffee maker was all set up -- just a push of a button for the first morning's coffee.

Perfect!

The Barn is absolutely magical. The location, setting, and design of the property instantly makes you happy. It is extremely well-appointed inside and out. The host has seemingly thought of everything and has made personal touches that make you feel very special. We spent a good bit of time in an around town and it is perfectly located to just about everything you can imagine. Don't look any further and book this property if it's available.

Amazing place to stay in Walla Walla!

We will be back! Quiet neighborhood a short distance from town. When we arrived, there was a beautiful welcome bottle of Cabernet waiting for us. The kitchen is well stocked, beds are so cozy and comfy, everything redone, nice outdoor furniture and most importantly..clean!!! They even put water and coffee in the pot so all we had to do was turn it on. Little touches that go a long way. Would not hesitate to recommend to our friends and family. One of the best VRBO’s we’ve stayed at.

Unique property w/on-site assistance

Megan and family were great! They were right there when we needed some assistance on 2 separate days. Megan left some goodies for us as well. I really appreciate the fresh flowers in vases as I do this at my home. Unique property! We made use of the grill as well as the "fire table" which was a welcome change from the hotels/and city life we experienced the rest of the trip. Very relaxing! Hope to make it out again someday....

A Most Perfect Stay

If the modest Host description and photos intrigue you, I am here to tell you the Barn is even so much better. This property is perfect in every way you would expect for a wonderful restful serene getaway. The neighborhood is centrally located and at night, is very quiet and peaceful. The warm and lovely Host missed her calling as she could be a very skilled real estate stager as the home is brilliantly created and meticulously prepared down to every detail. The kitchen has everything you could need and there is even an outdoor grill with comfortable outdoor furniture and fire pit, to enjoy when the weather permits. The bed is comfortable with great pillows and linens, and plenty of closet space. The temperature in the home is customizable with fans in several areas to adjust and was always comfortable for us. The bathroom is well done and, again, has every convenience you could think of even including special makeup removal towels. As a REALTOR for the past 40 years I am never certain what to expect from Host's online presentation, but this property is truly a 5 star experience and we have already made our reservations to stay next year in wonderful Walla Walla.

Great Spot / Stay

The Barn was perfect for our birthday getaway. Good location in a quite area. Decorated well and Meg thought of everything including champagne and homemade Carmel Corn. The Barn was very comfortable. Definitely recommend.

Cozy barn retreat

This barn home is awesome. Meg has seriously put so much thought into making this space as relaxing and comfortable as possible. From the sweet snack upon our arrival, to the essential oil diffuser and bathrobes, she’s thought of it all! The beds are super comfortable, the kitchen is fully stocked, and there’s a miscellaneous drawer with chargers and anything a guest may need. Overall we had a really great stay and would absolutely stay again.

This place is awesome

The location is great. Close to town and surrounded by wineries. Property was super clean, smelled awesome, and the owner goes out of the way to make you feel like family or friends. If you have a small group this is the place. If I could leave 6 stars I would.

Because of the perfect weather, we were able to enjoy all the options this house offers. We had access to outdoor meals, with prep inside or with the grill, drinks around the fire pit, and the perfect access to south side wineries by bike. Make sure your party is OK sharing the single (very nice) bathroom.

Exceeded all expectations!

Staying at The Barn is a truly lovely experience. Tucked down a tree lined drive, it feels private and peaceful, yet is just minutes away from excellent wineries and not far from town. The hosts, Megan and Jeff, have thought of every convenience, and there is truly nothing they have left out of the property. You will find what you need to relax, cook, and chill. The outdoors areas have lovely seating options and invite you to dine or relax there. Not that you will necessarily want to leave the well-appointed interior! Nice touches abound from when you walk in the door. There is a sense of comfort and you can easily sink into the crafted leather couches and rest. Towels, kitchen goods, the amenities are nicely done and the bed (we slept in the downstairs bedroom but imagine we can generalize to upstairs) were extremely comfortable. My husband and I came alone on this trip, but would have been very comfortable with our adult daughter and son-in-law joining us, the space would be comfortable for four adults or some variation with children. Megan and Jeff are truly gracious hosts and we appreciate their hospitality. We look forward to our next visit.

Beautiful Barn and Excellent Hosts!

My son and I stayed here while in Walla Walla to tour Whitman College. It was HOT while we were there, but this beautifully restored barn was our cool escape after our tour and an afternoon of exploring the area. Meg was a wonderful host. We felt spoiled with wine (for me), coffee, fresh eggs, chocolates, super comfy beds, great air conditioning and a beautiful outdoor area to relax in. We will definitely stay here again next time we're in Walla Walla!

オーナー : Megan Holbrook

Jeff and Megan Holbrook purchased their property in 2005. Meg knew instantly that the pony barn on the back acre would make an amazing guest cottage. Jeff is a Concrete and Excavation Contractor. Jeff and Meg applied their skills and hard work to make the dream a reality. The Barn construction was complete in Spring 2013'. Meg is also Registered Dental Hygienist by day and Barn host and designer on other days. Her love for design and meeting new people has made the Barn a true ' home away from home.' Their most treasured successes are their two beautiful children, Callee and Trace and their dogs big buddy Dude and Sweet girl Shelby. They like to greet guests occasionally when they arrive. They also enjoy camping, hiking, riding dirt bikes, swimming, working hard as a family and just being together. Life to them is about following dreams and believing they will come true. And they are!

When you drive down the lane to The Barn you instantly get a 'Wow' feeling. Our place is a casual country setting; very cozy and nestled among big pine trees. You will hear birds chirping, frogs croaking but not a rooster in the morning. It is an escape from reality of the daily grind. Every amenity is top quality, while the setting is perfectly simplistic and peaceful.
