The house was extremely clean & very comfortable. Location was great to go to Diamond Crater State Park. Close to town to go to the lovely shops & restaurants. My husband loved the big screen TV. Nice king size bed comfy mattress & pillows. Slept well after a day of digging. The house is also pet friendly. Unfortunately our furbaby passed 2 weeks before our trip. She would have loved the large quiet yard. Highly recommend this house. We can't wait to return.

For the most part it was great. Beds were comfortable. House was clean, no bad smells. But, while there was coffee, there was no sugar, no creamer, no coffee pot filters. The bathroom sink took the better part of 30 minutes to drain. Sent a message and the response was fast, yet no one fixed the issue. The grass was knee high. Had to search to find extra towels. If you wanted to use the grill you had to clean it from the last time someone used it. Our stay wasn't bad, just not up to what I would consider normal.

Cynthia was very helpful in getting us checked in and was available to answer our questions. We loved the place. It was comfortable and roomy. It was also on the same road as Crater of the Diamonds and was just a hop, skip and a jump away. It worked out really well for us. We would definitely stay here the next time we're in the area.

The interior of the house was really nice. There was an abundance of towels, dishes, silverware, coffee, cleaner, just about everything, minus a big pot for boiling corn on the cob. The beds were so comfortable and soft but not too soft. Especially after a day of digging, they were so good to sleep on to recuperate. The pillows were extra fluffy and felt like a cloud! The bedding was soft and clean too. They had plenty of closet space and dresser drawers for your clothes. There was a grill and there was coals left, so we used those and replaced them with a new bag. There wasn't a lighter anywhere, so I would recommend one just for that grill. Directly next door to the house was a beautiful field with wild blackberry bushes and roaming horses. It is 3 minutes from Crater of Diamonds. So we were able to get there and into the park fast. My only gripe: The yard desperately needed TLC. I was picking up styrofoam from the front yard and neighborhood trash to kind of help out for the next people to rent.

The home itself was cute and cozy. The grass was past my 9 year olds knees, old smelly sneaker, soda can and cigarette butts on carport. Lots of flys and gnats in the house and no fly swatter. The master bed is so high that I couldn’t get in it and I am 5’3”. The grease on the stove was digusting and the oven hasn’t been cleaned for a long time. The air filters were thick with dust, and there was a layer of bug droppings inside the air handler closed.

The space was perfect for what we needed. Beds were comfy, linens were clean, shower was hot, fridge was cold and freezer froze water bottles. The not so great, but tolerable: the grass was tall (knee height on my kids) so we just stayed out of it. We encountered and killed a spider behind the couch lol The last day we were there ants were in the sink and on the kitchen counter and I couldn’t find any ant bait but since we were leaving in the morning I just started packing our stuff the night before anyways. Overall, we would definitely stay here again! It’s MUCH MUCH better than most hotels!!
