Beautiful home that looked as advertised in listing. Perfect location that is close to beach, town, & food store. Backyard is big and great for pets & kids. The garage with beach chairs, coolers, etc was a great extra!! Would definitely stay again!

Charming property with plenty of room for everyone. The outdoor space was a favorite feature at all hours. All the comforts of home and then some, short drive to marinas, shops, and grocery store. Beach is a 5 minute drive with ample parking.. Will definitely book again.

Great for multiple couples and singles

We had a funeral to attend in Cape Charles and our group consisted of siblings, spouse, and some adult children who all traveled from out of state. This house had just the right combination of bedrooms and beds and adequate seating in the living room for all of us. We really liked the kitchen since it was large and well stocked with dishes, utensils, and cooking supplies. It is a short drive to town. It also has a nice patio with a barbecue out back.

Beach and fishing dream

Ivey Mill at Cape Charles is a lovely home with architectural character. The home is comfortable and well appointed for families. Outdoor living is easy with a short drive to the family-friendly beach, a hardscaped back yard with pergola including grill and Blackstone as well as comfortable outdoor furniture and a gas fire table. Plenty of room for a dog and for fishermen to stage and store gear. Another bonus is easy access to seafood, restaurants, shopping, and grocery store. Highly recommend.

Perfect place!

The house was nicely updated and has everything we needed. Great for a large family/ families. Patio had Blackstone cooktop and a grill. Comfortable furniture around the electric fireplace. Large yard for the children and dogs. Plenty of amenities for outdoors in the garage. Short car ride to town and beach. Close to Food Lion when you need to pick more food!Our host, Amanda, was wonderful. Responded quickly when needed and was most helpful and welcoming.We hope to stay again next year!

Wonderful experience.

We were looking for a last-minute getaway and just fell in love with this house.It was so well decorated, supplied with all the essentials and very clean. Loved the outdoor patio and firepit and how close it was to downtown. We will be coming back!

Nice house. Comfortable. Cape Charles is a pleasant place to visit. The house is close to town, bordered by a field, a road, and a real estate office. It’s close to a highway so there is some road noise. We had everything we needed.

Perfect for big families

October in Cape Charles

We had a lovely stay at the home. Check in process was very smooth and easy. The house is right off Rt 13, but minimal noise from traffic. The property was well maintained both inside and out. Kitchen is well stocked. Wireless internet was exceptionally fast. The home is well equipped with HDTV, games and some books. Location was perfect for Cape Charles, and Food Lion just across the highway. We would highly recommend this property.

We've rented this house multiple times as it is perfect for the trips we make down to Cape Charles. New outside seating and grill area was a welcomed addition too.

Cape Charles family getaway

It’s our second year coming back to Cape Charles as a family and our second stay here! It was as great as we remembered. They even added a wooden gazebo which was a welcomed surprise. Plenty of room for kids, grandparents and the boat!

Relaxation at its finest!

My family and I stayed in the home and the pictures don’t do it justice! The home was big enough for all six of us and definitely could fit more. My neice whose three kept mentioning how much she loves the house. The back yard and the nice patio was a huge plus. The home is east to find and right down the road to most attractions. Everyone in the neighborhood was very friendly. My family and I will most definitely be back!

Wedding Weekend Getaway

Very nice older beach community home. Very convenient to downtown Cape Charles(less than 2 miles). The owners have done a nice job in updating the home with updated fully stocked kitchen. Very nice outside patio area with covered sitting area with gas fire pit. Large yard area for pets to walk around. Newer HVAC systems to keep you cool!! Highly recommend for families that need a little extra space.

Fun at Cape Charles

We stayed from September 4-8th. My grandchildren loved the open indoor space . All adults enjoyed the large kitchen and four bedrooms. My adult kids, working from home, wished the internet was stronger . We all loved the ease to travel to the beach and downtown Cape Charles. The patio and grill were wonderful and we had a great time running with our dog in the huge backyard.

Birdsongs at sunrise

This house is a beautiful spot just outside Cape Charles with lots of comfortable space, a beautiful back yard, and multiple birds to start your day with a song each morning. The house is a great place to relax, but also an easy access point for the town and beach. We enjoyed a quiet, beautiful weekend. Thank you.

Perfect Stay

Everything about the house could not have been more perfect. It was hard to leave. I love going to Cape Charles! The house was amazing. Felt at home. It even had games the children could play. Lots of back yard space for the guys to play kickball with the kids. I hope to return next year. Thanks to all of you!
