We really enjoyed the space and being surrounded by nature. The hosts were thoughtful and left snow shovels and coffee which was very thoughtful and made it feel very homey. The bathtub in the upstairs bathroom was amazing! We would love to stay again sometime.

Perfect Girl's Escape!

We stayed for a long weekend. We loved being in the pines, visiting the small town of Plain, and using the cabin as a launchpad for our Leavenworth adventures! The cabin was clean, well-appointed, and the perfect cozy escape!

It has everything that you would need.

Over all this cabin was a joy. We rent a cabin in the area two or three times a year (usually the same one) and know the area well. This cabin is well situated with the open woods and trail in the back yard. The cabin is clean, new and well worth renting.Enjoy your stay.

Perfect little getaway

Our stay here was fantastic! Cute little cabin with wood burning stove made it comfy cozy for our stay! The place was left in nice condition with all the amenities you need. We really enjoyed our stay and ringing in the new year in this cute place. I would recommend is replacing the mattress in the upstairs bedroom. It isn't the most comfortable mattress as you roll to the middle. It is in need of replacing. The owner was very responsive with questions I had by texting. The rental is about 30 minutes outside of the main town. I wish the owner would have a book for people to share their experiences about their stay as well. Overall a great place to take your small family! I would recommend and stay here again.

Communication is non-existent

Cabin was adequate...bedding was definitely not fresh. The comforters and pillows in the master bedroom had not been washed in a while. My biggest complaint is lack of communication with the property manager/owner. There was no response to email, text, or phone call. Voicemail box is full, so I couldn't even leave a message. If something goes wrong while you're there, you will be on your own.

Life Group getaway

I was dissatisfied that the master bedroom’s toilet was dirty, the mattress was horrible, I could feel every spring and was hard to get out of. The carpet was dirty. All the chairs outside were dirty or had standing water on them. The DVD player had wires to connect to TV with different colors but no instructions on how they connected. Overall it was ok, but being a host myself, I would make sure it was up to luxurious standards. For the price I wouldn’t rent it again.

Perfect birthday weekend

We rented the cabin for my daughter's 9th birthday. All she wanted for her birthday was to play in the snow, and her wish was granted. She loved sledding in the neighborhood, and building a snowman in the front yard, and we went snowmobiling nearby as well! Lots of fun! It was a clean and cozy (but not small) cabin - just the right size for our family of 5. The Christmas tree and lighted staircase were welcome additions. My daughter loved the giant stuffed animals and western theme, and the loft and big main room were perfect for our family's birthday celebration!

Price is the best part of this listing

The nightly rental was the best part of my stay and accurately reflects the accommodations. The house/cabin is spacious but shows its age. The bed mattress needs to be changed and replacing the chair in the loft is long overdue. The A/C worked great! The neighborhood is quiet but it’s a good 25+ minutes drive to Leavenworth. The 10 am checkout is too early in my opinion. I called the guest contact to see if I could extend my check out but my call was not answered nor could I leave a message. I booked my reservation late so my choices were limited. I would recommend this place for someone on a tight budget.

A weekend getaway for friends. We loved our stay and we got a bit of snow the first night too!

Great rental, about 20-25 minutes from Leavenworth. You definitely need traction help if there’s snow. Quiet, wooded, very relaxing.

Nice place but far from Leavenworth

Very cute place and spacious. Has a little bit of everything you need. But would recommend to bring trash bags and toilet paper. It was just really far from Leavenworth center. Just FYI roads are windy and lots of curves. Wouldn't recommend in bad weather. The parking was limited. Check in was fast and easy. Wifi was good but was never able to make the Netflix work. Overall we had a great stay celebrating a birthday.

Quaint, plenty of room— love Plain!

We had a great time during our stay. The cabin is at the end of a windy road in Plain, so definitely bring chains. We only had trouble on the last day, after the driveway iced over. But it’s scenic seeing all the cabins and we liked getting beyond the bustle of Leavenworth and really loved cross country skiing in Plain, stopping in for coffee at the hardware store. The cabin was clean, decently supplied (could have used a pasta utensil, salad tongs, and ice cream scooper— but otherwise had everything we needed for eating in), and spacious. Plenty of room for our family of 6 and kid friendly. Nothing fancy— just cozy and decently maintained.

Very good house with great trail access!

Very good house! Comfortable and had most of what we needed. The only things missing that would have been nice are a hair dryer and some more basic nonperishable food items (like cooking oil and sugar). The proximity to the trails was great especially with a 3 year old and newborn. We could step right outside to play in the snow, snowshoe and go sledding! It was also very easy to get to Leavenworth.

Great House!

We just stayed there for Oktoberfest and it was a perfect size for 6 people. Plenty of space to sprawl out and everything was in pretty good condition. A short walk down to the river and about a 25 minute drive into Leavenworth. No complaints!

Overall great little cabin. The only observation I would make is that it sleeps 2 adults not 6. The bunk beds were not adult friendly. We had 2 families and only one room for adults. The bunks were small and very wobbly. Twin beds would be nice rather than bunk beds. Leave instructions for tv. Could not work it.
