Great Home Away From Home

We had a great stay! We loved the pretty view out the back and the amount of living space. We were able to host for dinner and had comfortable space for 10 to dine and visit.

Excellent Location and Property

Very clean, comfortable and lovely residence. Stayed 2 nights and great location to take day trips. Fermoy has several good restaurants and an Aldi nearby if groceries are needed. Would definitely stay again in the future!

Very comfortable, clean, well equipped little house. I liked the decor and especially the little slippers provided for each guest. The estate was very quiet and peaceful. Also conveniently close to grocery stores and freeway.

The property was fine. Their are comments about a small kitchen which it was, but it was exactly as I expected and worked fine our needs. It was in a good location for Fermoy and Castelyons visits and would stay there again.

Gillian's apartment was the perfect base for us exploring Cork County, the beautiful Copper Coast and the magnificent Rock of Cashel. Parking is ample and safe, and the apartment was spotless, beautifully decorated, and equipped with EVERYTHING we needed to make our stay comfortable. The kitchen has all you need to make meals (we made our breakfast everyday before hitting the road, and a.couple of dinners too). Thank you Gillian for hosting us. We would definitely return when visiting Cork County again.

Great central location, and cozy

It was perfect for our day trips around the south and west coasts. Great place to come home to after some long drives. Close to local coffee and restaurants. Perfect for us!

We loved this cute Irish row house! The location is good. We felt safe. 20 minutes to Cork. That said, Fermoy shopping might be more fun as it is not as crowded. The inside of the home is as the pics depict, only better. The owners left guide books specific to castles and churches to see. This made planning our outings so easy! We really appreciate the thoughtfulness.

Loved it!

The place was perfect… absolutely lovely. Gillian and Kelley were very great with communication. Perfect for a short stay to visit family nearby.. near to town and Aldi for convenient grocery shopping. Hope to stay again!

Hub for travel

Easy access to main road, Aldi, downtown Fermoy. Food choices in Fermoy seemed limited evenings but Chinese and Indian were very good and reasonably. Place was very cute and all modern!

The home was pretty clean, with some exceptions (some debris on the floor and the tea maker was dirty). It is quiet and a central location. Parking while not dedicated was easy enough. I found difficulty with getting hot water for the kitchen due to the systems for switching on water, and really never had hot water in the kitchen duringmy stay. There a several items that have to be switched on/off during the stay and check out, that I did not experience in other rentals in Ireland. I felt this complicated my stay. Great communication with the host before check in.

This home was fantastic to stay in and easily accessible. The communication was great leading into our stay so we definitely felt prepared. The location was great - the neighbourhood was very friendly with 2 large grocery stores within a 5 minute walk. The home was clean, linens were plentiful, and loads of instructions on using washing machine, showers etc. I would definitely stay here again - thanks so much for your hospitality!

Nice, tiny place to stay

We‘ve stayed here for some days to explore Cork region. It was a little tiny for 4 persons but okay though as we haven‘t been home most of the time. Check-in and out was comfortable and easy. We do not have pets, but had the feeling to find a lot of hair though. Didn‘t have to contact anyone for help as everything worked well.

Short stay

We stayed for 5 days- it was very pleasant and comfortable. We didn’t have any towels for showering when we arrived and had to search for them. It was different to have to turn off the switches for outlets and having the water to heat up. Overall, the experience was good

Short stay in south of Ireland

There is not much going on in Fermoy, but it is possible to drive to some major attractions such as the national park if you don’t mind a bit of a drive. The house is very tastefully decorated and well equipped, but it is very small and the beds are listed as queens. If you are coming from America, please note this means full. Not a lot of room for suitcases, but the listing clearly stated how small it was. Overall acute little place, but not really in a destination spot.

On arrival, the TV in the bedroom was missing, however, the owners were very responsive and brought a replacement TV to us the next morning. The interior of the property was as expected from the online photos, and we enjoyed evenings by the log-burner. However, we were very disappointed and surprised by the dilapidated condition of some of the attached properties which were not visible in the online photos.

Cork, Ireland, and "Love on the Rocks" in Prescott AZ. Kelley and Gillian love the great out door, living a healthy lifestyle, travelling and creating vision for a fun and abundant big life together. Kelley and Gillian make frequent trips to their home in Prescott to visit family, as well as Ireland as they love to use it as a hub to explore Europe.

Our property is located in Fermoy town. Gillian & Kelley have this Masonette to call home when visiting family in Fermoy, or traveling around Ireland. This house is steps from supermarkets, gyms, gas/petrol stations for all your conveniences. Less then 1/4 mile from some local pubs to enjoy the pub scene and locals. Fermoy has come alive and metropolitan with an abundant food scene offering local and ethnic cuisine choices. If you enjoy pitch and putt, you could "almost" tee off from our place to the local club!! There is easy access to the motorway and main freeway giving you easy driving to the neighboring counties The home is well appointed and set up as a vacation home for us and for you when we're not in Ireland. Modern, remodeled and recently redecorated allowing you to enjoy the ambiance and the feel of it being your own while you're staying. This house is in a friendly community with free parking. Behind the house has a lovely open feel with green area allowing for lovely views from living room and main bedroom and a feeling of spaciousness reaching across the town.
