Check in was easy and communication was excellent. The stay was a bit farther of a walk to pubs than we expected but so close to the market which was lovely. The space was very comfortable and the linens were really nice. The decorating is clean and fresh. We loved getting to meet our hosts and have a quick chat on our way out. Thank you for the nice stay!

My mother and I began our stay in Ireland here and it was a perfect starting point! Driving was easy, it was close to convenience stores and was very clean. It had everything necessary for coffee, however, we did not cook in the kitchen. The back patio had beautiful flowers and herbs to enjoy. Overall had an excellent stay :)

This home was fantastic to stay in and easily accessible. The communication was great leading into our stay so we definitely felt prepared. The location was great - the neighbourhood was very friendly with 2 large grocery stores within a 5 minute walk. The home was clean, linens were plentiful, and loads of instructions on using washing machine, showers etc. I would definitely stay here again - thanks so much for your hospitality!

Gillian's apartment was the perfect base for us exploring Cork County, the beautiful Copper Coast and the magnificent Rock of Cashel. Parking is ample and safe, and the apartment was spotless, beautifully decorated, and equipped with EVERYTHING we needed to make our stay comfortable. The kitchen has all you need to make meals (we made our breakfast everyday before hitting the road, and a.couple of dinners too). Thank you Gillian for hosting us. We would definitely return when visiting Cork County again.

On arrival, the TV in the bedroom was missing, however, the owners were very responsive and brought a replacement TV to us the next morning. The interior of the property was as expected from the online photos, and we enjoyed evenings by the log-burner. However, we were very disappointed and surprised by the dilapidated condition of some of the attached properties which were not visible in the online photos.

We felt this was an unkind review suggesting the buildings attached to our rental are “dilapidated”. They are not in disrepair or ruin, which is what dilapidated means. We agree that the building attached to the house that is 2 doors away from us needs cleaning and a coat of paint, but unfortunately we have no control over that. Our place that you are renting is beautifully decorated and fresh for you to enjoy. Please read back on other reviews to get a well rounded opinion on our place. Feel free to reach out if you have concerns.

We loved this cute Irish row house! The location is good. We felt safe. 20 minutes to Cork. That said, Fermoy shopping might be more fun as it is not as crowded. The inside of the home is as the pics depict, only better. The owners left guide books specific to castles and churches to see. This made planning our outings so easy! We really appreciate the thoughtfulness.

Short stay

We stayed for 5 days- it was very pleasant and comfortable. We didn’t have any towels for showering when we arrived and had to search for them. It was different to have to turn off the switches for outlets and having the water to heat up. Overall, the experience was good

Thanks for your review. I wish you would have reached out right away and I could have told you were the towels are. Sorry for the confusion. Water in Ireland is heated by electric immersion and showers are electric. Yes, it does require the flip of a switch to turn shower on and off.

Nice, tiny place to stay

We‘ve stayed here for some days to explore Cork region. It was a little tiny for 4 persons but okay though as we haven‘t been home most of the time. Check-in and out was comfortable and easy. We do not have pets, but had the feeling to find a lot of hair though. Didn‘t have to contact anyone for help as everything worked well.

Hi Jytte, We’re happy you enjoyed your stay. However, I’m curious about your mention of pet hair… We have just started to allow pets and up to this point we haven’t had anyone stay with a pet. So I’m not sure how you would have found pet hair? Best, Gillian & Kelley
