Great house

The house was perfect for a large group of us to enjoy the weekend at Railbird music festival. It was clean, had a great backyard/fire pit, and was in a nice neighborhood which connects to a paved walking trail. Of note, the online diagram for Bedroom 1 is not correct, as it contains only one king and two twins (including a trundle); but Julie quickly clarified that when I asked. Also, the August locks instead of a traditional keypad could be trickier for people don't have access to a smartphone. Overall, the house was great and I would definitely book again!

Great home for large family!

This home was exactly what we were looking for. The backyard was amazing for our kids to enjoy while we grilled. The master bedroom is a great space for extra hangout space for the kids (ours ranged in age from 7 to 23). Everything you need (minus food, of course) is available in the home which was so nice and convenient. Loved the location - especially if going to The Ark Encounter and/or Creation Museum; the Kentucky Horse Park; and almost a direct shot to downtown Lexington. The host was very accommodating, always available to answer questions; and did everything she could to make sure we were comfortable. Truly a great place to call home away from home!

Great Place to enjoy Lexington

Julie's house was perfect for our group. The home is just a short drive or Uber away from all the attractions of Lexington. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen is large and well equipped. Everything was very clean and ready for us when we arrived. Julie is a wonderful communicator as well.

Horse show in Lexington

We stayed at this home while attending an event at the Lexington Horse Park. The location was convenient in the house had every amenity we need it. It was especially nice to bring our dogs along and have a safe fenced in yard for them to enjoy.

Great house!

My group really enjoyed this house. The great room is lovely, big dining room. Lots of beds. Huge master. Fully stocked kitchen. Beds were extra comfortable. Everything was really clean. Bonus: really good, oversized washer and dryer that work really well.

Wonderful Home to celebrate UK Graduation with Family

This property was exactly what we needed for our family to meet up and celebrate (delayed) UK graduation where all of us except for the graduate lived in other states that were not KY. When we had to reschedule due to Covid cancelling in-person ceremonies, the property manager was so kind and flexible in working with us. The space suited us perfectly! We had enough beds and privacy for our 5 of our adult kids + 2 spouses, 2 fiances, 2 grandbabies, & my husband & myself. Everything was so clean - bathrooms were great! Plenty of towels. So Much closet space in each room! Kitchen had all we needed to prepare meals - new appliances. TV was large & new. Our group likes board games and played those in the evenings - 2 spaces to do that. Laundry room was so helpful! Grill & large outside picnic table was perfect for us to all eat dinner together. The neighborhood was lovely and easily accessible to both downtown and Midway and New Circle (Route 4). Highly recommend! I hope we are able to come back!

Kentucky Weekend Trip

It was perfect for our group - there was lots of room and a large backyard. We really enjoyed our stay and thought the home was perfect! A quick uber to get to the downtown.

Perfect Graduation Weekend!

We rented this house to host our whole family for UK Graduation 2019, and it was everything we had hoped for. Beautiful house in a quiet neighborhood. Nice backyard with a firepit, and the house is stocked with all the amenities. Highly recommend this property for any similar type occasion.

I don’t plan to use HomeAway again. At the last minute I had to give the names and phone numbers of all my family. This was necessary to put an app on our phones to unlock the door. It was very stressful to go through the process and my family did not like giving up so much personal information. There was not enough sitting room for us to visit. We could sit to eat but one large corner couch without support did not work.

Bedrooms roomy and kitchen well stocked. Great TVs and very comfortable. Need mirrors in the bedrooms since there are only 2 1/2 bathrooms for large families. Electronic door locks nice but tricky.

Hey there, I'm Julie, a native Lexingtonian. I love it and I have been fortunate to travel quite a bit. I studied abroad in Spain and England when I was in college. I adore Madrid and all things Spanish. I majored in Spanish and minored in French. I made some wonderful friends in England and had the opportunity to travel to Italy, France, Scotland, Ireland and Wales while I was there. Then I travelled to Greece to visit some of my best friends from Lancaster University. Along the way I tried to learn some Greek and Italian, ena fatcha, ena raza. I came back home and decided to go to work for my family's company. I love what I do and where I live. But I love to go to Europe & Hawaii every chance that I get. ;-)

This home has an absolutely massive privacy fenced in backyard. There is a custom built stone fire pit to enjoy at night, a large patio and a custom-built patio table, and a large charcoal grill. There are four large bedrooms upstairs, each with their own walk-in closet and ceiling fan to keep you comfortable during the warmer months. There is a spacious dining room that can comfortably seat 6 and an eat-in area in the kitchen with another table for four as well as 3 bar stools at the kitchen bar. There is a large laundry room with a full size washer and dryer as well as an ironing board, iron and steamer to help keep your clothes fresh while you are in town.

This home is within walking distance of Masterson Station Park, a 600+ acre park that has a 16 acre fenced in dog park. It is the only park in Lexington that allows horses. There is a cross country jump course, an indoor riding ring and a few riding rings. The large privacy fenced in yard offers a peaceful place to kick back and enjoy as well as a safe place for pets and children to play.
