A pet-friendly 1950s cottage with retro charm in one of Tyler's most beloved historic neighborhoods. Minutes from UT Health, CHRISTUS, downtown Tyler, and the Rose Garden. Everything you need is close, but the neighborhood feels tucked away.

Brew some fresh coffee and sip it on our quiet front porch. Experience the retro decor, diner touches, and a popcorn machine in the kitchen. Inspired by Gilmore Girls, we've made sure that there are plenty of coffee mugs, books, and board games.

All three bedrooms have their own personalities. The fenced backyard is perfect for pets. You'll find a full kitchen, washer/dryer, fast WiFi, and a dedicated workspace when you need it. Free parking on site.

We stayed here for a week while waiting to close on our house- the host could not have been more flexible and accommodating! Super cute place that fit all our needs from washer & dryer, pet friendly, quiet neighborhood, and a large kitchen! Perfect landing spot and minutes to all things Tyler!

We loved the location, and had everything we needed. There was a smell in the bedroom with the two twin beds that we didn't care for, and a bunch of cob webs in the 2nd bedroom closet that my daughter had to contend with, but all in all we had a nice stay. We really did loved the location.

Had a wonderful stay. The house was inexpensive, very clean, and in a great historic neighborhood. The host even allowed us to check in a few hours early. Lastly, we pulled into Tyler when the high temp for the day was 105 degrees. No problem though, we sent a text to our host who turned down the thermostat and told us about a window unit that we could crank up. We were very comfortable in spite of the intense heat outside. We would love to stay here again during our next trip to Tyler. One last thing worth mentioning, it’s only a couple of blocks from Stanley’s bbq, (a must try place in Tyler).

The house needs updated. The vacuum hardly picked up the floor dirt. There was a smell in the bathroom and in the kitchen sink. We found some big bugs in the house and found mouse poop behind the coffee pot on the cabinet. The beds were somewhat comfortable. Definitely need a different couch because it was so dirty. I have not left a bad review before.

Hi Angela. We are a surprised by this review as you did not reach out once while you were here. We would’ve immediately reached out to pest control, brought in an additional cleaning, and made things right if you had let us know what was happening. The house was completely renovated less than a year ago, and we work hard to keep it clean and comfortable for our guests, and are regularly making upgrades. Sometimes things still happen, especially in older homes, and we can’t make things right unless the guest communicates so we know if something unexpected has happened.

Loved our stay in Tyler, the cottage was in the best location, close to many restaurants and shopping. We brought our bikes for riding, couldn't pass up all the bike trails! After our day of eating lot of good food and exploring the trails, the cottage was so comfortable, clean and well stocked for us to rest. OH!! LOVED your Kenmore 70 series washer, I hope I can find one for myself one day!

The house was so cute! Hannah was very quick with any questions. Great experience.. only thing a would change for ME ..is the beds are FIRM. Which can be a great thing... just not for me...it wouldnt keep me from renting again

Hannah was quick to respond and help! The house is cute! The beds are firm and comfortable. Love the antique creak of the floors. Feels spacious and open. Blackout curtains were clutch. Lots of natural sunlight, shady trees and privacy. Pet friendly with a spacious enclosed backyard.
