Lovely updated and light-filled home with a well-appointed kitchen, great location, and very responsive host! Quiet street in a quiet pocket neighborhood, perfect for periodic dog walks. Has desks in every BR, but the kitchen table is a perfect place to work. Perfect south Austin rental for when family comes to visit from out of town and you need extra space nearby.

The host was cery responsive and very helpful. The place was exactly as the listing described and very comfortable. The only downside that didn't have anything to do with the property is the neighbors dog will bark non stop and it's pretty loud since they have a big dog. Other than that everything was great!

I chose this South Austin spot because it gives you the best of both worlds—calm, residential streets with quick access to everywhere. You’re minutes from the Violet Crown Trail for daily walks and runs, about 12 minutes to Zilker Park/Barton Springs, and roughly 15 minutes to Downtown for dining, music, and museums. Day to day, it’s effortless: MoPac (Loop 1) is close for easy commuting, groceries and coffee are nearby, and South Lamar/SoCo staples are a short drive when you want a night out.

What I enjoy most is the easy rhythm—morning coffee in the quiet, private backyard, a quick trail loop, then a seamless hop to meetings or dinner. It’s a modern, move-in-ready home base that makes longer stays feel simple and well connected.
