Nice clean place and easy check in. Just a couple minor things that we took care of during our 5 day stay. Definitely recommend this place.

The apt had some challenges......the toilet leaked (day 1- Nov 10) repair workers on day 2 (Nov 11) then toilet wouldn't flush and drains not working in kitchen sink, toilet, washing machine overflowed day 3(Nov 12).....host sent workers and we stayed elsewhere for Day 4&5 at our expense. Returned Day 6 in evening and all seemed good except washing machine had no power and kept blowing breaker. Host never offered to find us another place or discount our stay due to problems.

The place was clean and looked as if recently renovated. There were a couple of issues and they were reported (and received answers from the owner) such as a window with NO window cover and looking DIRECTLY into the shower and extreme drilling noise coming from the next door unit being renovated...HOWEVER when I sent the third question/complaint (concerning a new microwave that was NOT working)...the owner STOPPED replying to my email as if I was bothering them too much, which the way we saw it, it was to their advantage because as a multi-property owner myself, I was making them aware of issues in their unit that needed attention and were practically easy to fix...so after that last email concerning the microwave that went UNANSWERED, I too stopped writing and decided to just let the end of our stay come, and let them find out for themselves what all I saw wrong with their unit.

When we arrived to the apartment, the door was unlocked and cracked open, which was a little alarming and unwelcoming. We entered the apartment and there was a strong odor of mildew and I immediately brought it to the host's attention. The host stated it was impossible to smell because they just did renovations. We thought it may have been the wet towels left in the dryer but we later discovered the stench came from under the kitchen sink. One bedroom window had no curtains or frosted glass and could be peered into from outside. This was unsettling because someone could easily see in to see us changing or sleeping. The first night of our stay the shower would not drain and when brought to the host's attention, I was told to unclog it myself. I refused and a maintenance man quickly came to fix it. The microwave would not rotate or heat food. I wish I had read previous reviews before booking. The only saving grace was the location. The neighborhood was beautiful and very close to the beach and areas to explore.
