Snorkelers are in for a treat: the reef begins near the shore and drops sharply to depths of around 30 m, home to a variety of marine life like parrotfish, yellowtail snapper, sergeant majors, blue tangs, sponges, gorgonians and sea anemones.
Beyond the shoreline getaway, there’s a wreck of a cabin cruiser - deliberately sunk to create an artificial reef, now teeming with coral and marine life and recognized as one of Aruba’s best shore dive spots.
Mangel Halto stands out as one of the island’s most peaceful, less commercialized beaches - ideal for quiet picnics, sunsets, and blending into nature. It features public palapas, parking and beach access are free.

When talking of beaches in Aruba, one has to mention Eagle Beach, about 20 minutes drive to the north. This was recently voted the number #1 beach in the Caribbean according to Tripadvisor’s Travelers’ Choice 2023. Not only that, but the number #2 beach in the World!
Eagle Beach is the widest beach of Aruba with more than a kilometre of pure perfection – white sands lapped by crystal clear blue waters with the iconic wind-bent divi divi (or fofoti) trees and the daily iridescent breathtaking sunsets over the water. If you're lucky, you may even spot turtles nesting on the shore.
Despite its fame, Eagle Beach remains a tranquil sanctuary, with plenty of space for everyone to sunbathe, play, or read a book. The area offers an uncrowded atmosphere, with a range of dining and water sports activities available. Eagle Beach is simply a genuine paradise for beach lovers.
BABY BEACH
Baby Beach is at the very southern tip of Aruba at San Nicolas about 20 minutes drive to the south and is a hit with travellers, who love it for its warm, shallow waters and gentle waves. Inexperienced snorkelers can wade far out toward the rainbow-colored coral while still being able to touch the seabed.

Located at the Tierra del Sol Golf resort, about 25 minutes drive to the north, is the 18-hole Championship desert links Golf Course designed by famed architect Robert Trent Jones II, providing a truly exhilarating experience for golfers of all levels. This 18-hole championship course offers breathtaking views of the Caribbean Sea and the Aruban countryside. With its lush fairways, strategically placed bunkers, and stunning ocean panoramas, the golf course promises a memorable and enjoyable round in a beautiful setting. Clubs and buggies are available to hire.
