The swing on the screened front porch is a favored spot for enjoying the dolphins, pelicans, herons, and the beautiful Alabama sunsets. After one week of experiencing this quiet haven, you will want to come back year after year. Our peaceful spot offers calm waters for great water skiing, yet lives up to its "Breezy Point" name for an afternoon sail in Perdido Bay.
Secluded, yet just minutes away from Tanger Outlet Mall, OWA, and all the sights and restaurants In Gulf Shores, Foley, and Perdido Key. Gentle waves lap over this sandy beach with no undertow to endanger your children, yet deep enough at the end of the dock to accommodate your boating needs and more advanced swimmers. There are several boat ramps in the vicinity.
Our vintage house is cozy and comfortable with spacious rooms and inviting decor. Recently updated, it provides all the convenience you will need to enjoy a relaxing vacation...new appliances, ceiling fans, tiled bathrooms and tile countertops. We love your fur babies and they are welcome with a pet fee, although we prefer that they sleep in their own beds on the floor. ( 2 dogs max, and no cats, please) You can fish and crab right off your private dock..Your very own "On Golden Pond", just waiting for you!

Wonderful stay!

This is a great place for families. From relaxing on the back porch, to fishing off the dock, to gathering around the table for meals and games, we really enjoyed our stay and are looking forward to returning next year.

Stay at Elberta

It was the most relaxing time ever. Beautiful location. Enjoyed watching the dolphins both in the morning and later in the day. The owners were wonderful!

Peaceful with boat dock

Very peaceful property. House is old with lots of antiques which my 82yo parents loved. Nice to sit in chairs by the water or in back screen porch and watch boats, birds & sunsets. Even saw dolphins. Rented this place because of the boat dock, brought my 19’ boat and kept at dock. Went to numerous bars & restaurants on the water and island beaches.

Paradise on the Bay

Wow! From Dolphins playing in the mornings to some of the most beautiful sunsets. This home was all I hoped it would be. The only problem was our two weeks went by in a flash. Next time I'll book it for a month.

Annual Family Vacation

We have been coming down to OBA for over 14 years. We love it there. We bring our boat and get out in the bay. This was one of our best times. We love the location of the house and area. Such a peaceful area. Owners are so good to deal with. The location is so great and perfect for our boat! Could not ask for a better stay. Look forward to coming back next year.

Peaceful and Private

Even though our stay was work related, our crew of 4 still had time to enjoy the ocean with some fishing and swimming. This cottage is located down a private lane with ample parking, a large yard and its own dock. Our host was fast and friendly to respond to our questions and was very accommodating. We will definitely book again!

Paradise on Perdido Bay

This is the Best by far house and location and neighbors at Perdido Bay!!!! We didn't cook anything but it is set up to grill out and a fully stocked kitchen. It is a killer location 30 mins to Orange beach and 35 to Pensacola beach. I caught about 8 pounds of fillets of mango snapper and sea trout right off the dock. Most definitely will be back!!! Want to give Forest a shout out and thank him for answering my Questions. Want to Thank House owner to for checking on us to and for letting us have a 2024 vacation at 1 of her Houses!!

Tranquility

Everything was perfect! Memories our family will cherish forever! We all hated leaving. But hopefully we can do it again real soon. Absolutely everything I dreamed of when I booked and those dreams came true for the whole family!

Great stay

I’ve stayed at this property before. Both times we enjoyed the stay. Host was very helpful and prompt with the problem we had with the TV set up. Again, we enjoyed the stay and we will return.

Perfect for family Christmas trip

We had a wonderful stay. It is a perfect location for tons of kayaking. The water at the beach/dock was perfect for launching the kayaks. We spent many days on the water. The sunrises and sunsets from the dock were spectacular. The dining room table was perfect for family games and meals. Would strongly recommend a stay at this Perdido Beach home.

Teen- Family- perfection- waterfront get-away

My husband, son (16) and daughter (13) stayed here. The kids loved it ( and so did we). They did lots of swimming, snorkeling, crabbing and laying out. There was a kayak,some boogie boards there. We did see dolphin. We brought our duck boat and were able to boat to a few restaurants, a little secluded beach,more fishing and a little teenage boat rides. The beds are so comfy! It has a cozy cottage feeling. If you plan to cook - kitchen has a great pantry and cookware under the cabinets. Make sure to bring/buy any seasoning. We have a medium sized dog ( wire haired pointing griffon) who had just as much fun. He even made a few neighborly friends. The neighbors are very friendly and welcoming. Its is 25-45 min treck to a grocery store and other activities. Our family did some of the tourist beaches and activities, but the kids had as much fun just swimming and exploring here. In the am walk out to the dock and see all the little crabs, kayak, or just relax on the dock- or sit on the enclosed patio- with swing, rocker etc.. and watch the dolphins with your coffee or evening wine. Hostess was very nice and helpful. House has such beachy and warm decorations to be admired. If you want relaxation, scenary that is for an adult getaway or a great family vacation spot- This is the place for you!

Perfect Bungalow

My friends and I loved our stay here! It was just right for the accommodations we needed for the weekend and we enjoyed discovering all the antiques and collectibles. The view was beautiful and the area is very peaceful. Julie left clear instructions for us to follow.

Perfect vacation spot

This place was fantastic. Not touristy, but close to tourist spots. We kayaked every morning and evening but still enjoyed shopping, orange beach and local food. I can see us making this our "vacation spot"

Another awesome stay at Breezy Point

This is our second time staying at Breezy Point and once again it didn’t disappoint. We really love this place and wish we could visit more often! Breezy Point has all the comforts of home: Comfortable beds, great a/c, fully stocked kitchen, and a breathtaking view. It’s about a thirty minute drive to the beaches and other attractions but we were ok with that as we like to be in a more secluded area. We saw dolphins multiple times throughout the day, caught some crabs, and a variety of fish. Julie was very responsive to questions and checked on us several times to make sure we we had everything we needed. We hated to leave and can’t wait to come back.

Quaint Quiet and convenient

Thank you for sharing your home. Quaint and Quiet. It was so close to our family reunion The back yard was unbelievably beautiful. Anyone that is looking to relax they have an awesome screened in back porch overlooking the water. Plenty of room if you have a large family

Loved it

It was everything I wanted. All my family and friends loved it and they all wanted to know how I found it so you might be getting lots of calls lol. It was old world charm and exactly what we were looking for to celebrate my granddaughter’s graduation from high school. Thank you to host Joyce for helping me out with everything. Will book again!!
