Location:
Guests enjoy views of Camel's Hump & the Green Mountains with beautiful farmland to the East. This space is great for couples & solo adventurers.
My home was built in 1810 & the Guest Apartment/ Studio was added onto the house in 1980.
Conveniently located midway between Middlebury & Burlington, this is a great home-base to take a day trip to the Stowe & the Mad River Valley.
There's much to explore in Addison and Chittenden Counties- visit local farmer's markets, apple orchards, great hikes, cycling, Lake Champlain & the Burlington waterfront, Church Street MarketPlace & many micro breweries.
Space:
There's a sunny living area a great picture window looking East to the Mountains. Ac cozy leather couch with TV & your personal lending library. There's a small decorative wood stove but not functional.
Large bedroom with queen size bed, full closet and dresser for storage & a side table. The bathroom is across the hall with large shower (no tub).
The kitchen is spacious and the stove and fridge are new as of summer 2025 (not pictured). Guests have ample cooking and prep space with use of the full sized fridge, microwave, and stove. There is coffee & coffee makers in the kitchen- Both drip and Kuerig. The cupboards have plates, glassware, cutlery & cookware - mostly anything you would require for baking or meal prep.
Guests can store their bikes or sporting equipment in the small barn. I have an in ground pool; the pool season in Vermont is June thru mid September. Not heated but nice.
Other things to note
~Located on the main road but this village is pretty quiet.
~The view to the east is really terrific in all seasons
~I have a very large orange cat named Bernie. He will probably say hello.
~I live in the home attached to the studio & am available but will also respect your privacy.
