We recently stayed at Akasha Villas, a lovely villa in the secure, gated community located in the heart of Tulum Centro, and it exceeded expectations in so many ways. The property itself is in excellent condition—refreshingly free from the black mold issues that often affect older villas in the area.Once we booked, we were connected with the owner’s team, Vivian and Lucas, who handled every question and request with impressive responsiveness. Their communication made it clear that guest comfort is truly a priority.The location is convenient, with plenty of great restaurants within a 15–20 minute walk. The beach club zone is about a 20-minute drive or scooter ride, which worked well for us.We traveled as three couples, and the villa was perfectly suited for that setup. Each couple had a private bedroom and bathroom, and the shared spaces were spacious enough that the home never felt crowded. The outdoor area was especially charming—lush vegetation, a clean and well-maintained pool, and a serene atmosphere perfect for relaxing. The maintenance team did a great job keeping the pool sparkling and the garden tidy throughout our stay.Overall, I’d highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for a well-kept, comfortable, and reasonably priced getaway in Tulum. It's a fantastic home base for exploring the area while still enjoying peace and privacy.
