This is a beautiful home in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood. We were able to relax and enjoy a great weekend away. We would definitely go back if we are ever in the area again.

Our stay at this beautiful lakefront VRBO for my 60th birthday celebration was absolutely wonderful! The home was spacious, comfortable, and provided the perfect setting for a relaxing weekend with my closest friends. Had an issue with the initial booking. Contacted VRBO assistant to help. Kind of a painful process but it got straightened out except the number of people booking for the stay was incorrect. On our first night, a storm took out the power. Reached out to host about an onsite generator. He was worried more about extra people and partying. Not really the feedback needed. Terrain around the house was tough to navigate. Rough footing to get to the water or sitting area. House was furnished very, very plain. No dresser in the bedroom. Gallons of paint in the closet. Still had handrails that weren’t painted, boxes with outdoor furniture on the porch, Absolutely could be a great property. Just not ready to rent at this time. Our family enjoyed our time together but the accommodations could have been much better with a little attention to detail.

I could tell you were a little upset about me confirming how many people were staying. On my side, it showed that only 2 people were staying at the house but you had 6 people staying. As I explained to you at the time, I am not privy to issues you had with your booking. That was a vrbo issue. The level of insurance we have has to be adjusted per the amount of people staying in the home. Once we had it cleared up, we had no problem whatsoever. Sorry about the unpainted wood on the porch. We recently had a large storm at the home and a tree knocked down half of the deck (which was fully fixed) but the wood is still not weathered/ready to be painted. Good luck with your future travels.

We loved our visit to this welcoming, well-furnished home. Very relaxing space, quiet neighborhood, beautiful views. Perfect for adults like us that were visiting family in the area and dining out mostly. Plenty of towels and clean, comfortable linens. The beds were very comfortable. Within a mile, there's a Dollar General, Speedway Gas, and Food Lion which was super convenient. We respected the home, kept it clean, and followed all 'house rules.' Host was friendly and approachable, and communication was great. So much nicer than staying in a hotel. We definitely would come back !! Thank you.

We did not enjoy our stay at this cabin. From the first day, we felt extremely uncomfortable because the host was watching us on the cameras and messaging us in real time about what they believed we were doing wrong. This felt like a clear invasion of privacy and is against the rules—any concerns should be addressed after the booking, not during the stay. We were on a family vacation to relax and unwind, and instead felt monitored the entire time.The beds were very uncomfortable, making it hard to sleep, and there were no TVs in the bedrooms. The kitchen was completely unprepared for guests there were no pots or pans at all, which forced us to go out and buy our own just to be able to cook. This was especially inconvenient given how far the cabin was from the nearest store.Additionally, the home did not feel fully ready to be rented. It appeared as though furniture had just been put together quickly, and overall the space felt unfinished.Overall, the lack of privacy, comfort, and basic amenities made this a disappointing and stressful stay, and we would not stay here again.

Just to correct you, we only have cameras on the doorbell and front flood light to keep our property safe. We also have cigarette detectors in and around the property. We reached out to you before your stay to reiterate the house rules. Prestay, you acknowledged them on the vrbo messaging. You were told no smoking and that gatherings at the house should be no more than 10 people. The first evening there were 14 people in the house and two individuals smoking on the property. You were contacted about the violations via vrbo messaging. I'm sorry you felt that your privacy was encroached upon but there are no cameras or recording devices in the home. Monitoring the perimeter of the home is not a violation of your privacy. Further more, you did not have the common decency to even try to follow the house rules after you were contacted the first day. You responded to the email stating that you didn't know that they were violations and we then sent you the transcript of our prearrival emails. You then apologized and begged for us to cancel your extra charge for the cleaning service we have to do if someone is smoking on the property. Our mattresses are Serta Dreamclouds. Also, we have a 95 inch tv in the living room and a 40 inch tv in the primary bedroom(shown on vrbo). Kitchen includes: full set of silverware, a 5 pot set, 2 cast iron skillets, glasses/mugs, Keurig(6kcups, comp snacks)

Really nice house. Wish it was a little closer to the water but overall not disappointed at all. Will be the families first choice of places to stay when we are in town.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay. Came to RR to spend some time with my husband's family for the 4th and this house was absolutely perfect! Definitely will consider staying again when we come back to visit.
