We enjoyed our stay there. It was very convenient to the Trussville Entertainment District (1.1 mi.) and just off of Hwy 59. There are lots of restaurants and stores nearby. It is pet friendly which was important to us. The loft was as advertised "cozy" and lived up to that as a typical small addition to a historic older house; complete with exposed rafters, a blend of cinder block, brick and sheet rock walls with creative electrical solutions. Learning what switch turned on what was an entertaining challenge! This did not distract from the charm the place had to offer. The bed was comfortable, the unit was clean, and the furniture was a blend of garage sale chic but tastefully done. We did not use the loft but it looked comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with enough to keep 2-4 people accommodated and once I relocated the microwave to another outlet it worked fine. I could not find that switch! :-) If you are like us, coffee drinkers, we were surprised the only coffee maker was a french press. This turned out to be a plus as the owners supplied us coffee from their catering business that was superb! Worth the effort of the press.The bathroom was clean and the shower was tiled and appeared to be newer then the rest of the unit. Adding a bit of cute quirkiness was a stand up lamp that helped as there are no windows.We did not meet the owners but Casey was very helpful in making us comfortable there and answered any question we had via texts. We will return!
