We have been married for over 40 years and we have two grown sons and six grand-kids who all live in the area. We live full time in Fort Collins. I am a retired air traffic controller and my wife is a retired nurse. When our home in Estes Park is not rented we have all the kids here and we always have a great time doing many of the things that Estes Park has to offer.

We bought this home in 1973, but only live in it for 5 years and we kept it as a long term rental. In 2012 decided to turn it into a modernized rustic vacation home so that we could enjoy it and let others do the same. I spent the summer of 2012 with two contractors renovating the property by replacing almost everything except the bathtub and the walls.

The lower Studio was originally a garage that was converted into a family room and now has been sectioned into different areas without having a feeling of smallness. It is perfect for a couple or a family with a couple of small children and any renter will admit you get a whole lot more with this unit than you do with a small over-priced motel room and at a very affordable price. This unit can also be combined with the main level if need be to gain more space.
