Thrush Turn Manor has a beautiful lake and mountain view with an amazing open concept floor plan. The home is situated on a private cove of Lake Petit which provides a stunning view from all 5 bedrooms of the home. The property is close to all amenities and both the main and north gates of the community. When entering the home, the view includes a three-story gallery of windows which allows for a spectacular view of lake Petit and long range mountains. The main living room includes a stone, wood burning fireplace, adjacent to a large kitchen with an island which is an ideal location for friends and family to gather which includes stainless steel appliances. Open to the kitchen is a dining room area plus a cozy gathering room with the stone gas fireplace and wrap around deck which includes a new, very large hot tub. There is also a 3 car garage off the kitchen. The second level of the home provides a walkway overlooking the Great Room and 2 spaces bedrooms with their own ensuite bathrooms. On the terrace level there is an open room space with an arcade machine, smart TV, an enormous couch for family and friends to gather. This room also has a wet bar area. Downstairs on the terrace level there are also 2 large bedrooms, each with a private porch and ensuite bathrooms. This home is extremely spacious and is perfect for large family gatherings. The property offers easy access from both gates, and is close to all of the amenities Big Canoe has to offer such as the fitness center, swim lake / beach, tennis, golf, nature trails, and the award winning Clubhouse which features a large social gathering space for entertainment, food, and live bands (extra fees may apply for use of some of the amenities).

Big Canoe is conveniently located 25 minutes from downtown Jasper, Ball Ground, 40 minutes from Ellijay, and less than an hour to Blue Ridge. There are several wineries nearby to explore as well.

Please read our rental policy for our pet friendly homes, our dog friendly policy allows for up to (2) dogs in designated properties with a fee of $150.00 plus tax per dog. To ensure the comfort and safety of all our guests (including the furry ones), please inform us at the time of booking if you plan to bring your dogs. Keep in mind, some homes have size or weight restrictions, and for their safety, dogs should be crated when alone. While we may provide crates in certain properties, bringing your own is recommended. Always pick up after your pets to avoid additional fees, and rest assured, should any mishaps occur, we kindly ask for your cooperation in covering any damages. Bringing an unauthorized dog, or exceeding the limit without owner permission, incurs a $300.00 fine, plus potential extra cleaning fees up to $200.00 for non-designated homes.
