Windy Hill Dunes is a spectacular resort in the heart of Windy Hill Beach. Enjoy amazing ocean front views from this 15th floor balcony! With plenty of space for the entire family, our condo offers direct beach access, flat screen TVs (upgraded cable service), free Wi-Fi, full size appliances and a fully equipped kitchen. Enjoy sitting oceanfront on your private balcony with access from the living room and main bedroom. There's lots of seating in the family room for everyone in front of the 46" flat screen for family time or gather at the dinner table for a great meal.

The main bedroom includes a king bed with wonderful oceanfront views and walk-out balcony access to enjoy your morning coffee, listening to the waves. The main bathroom offers double his and hers vanity sinks, with a separate glass enclosed shower and separate soaking tub. The second bedroom offers a queen bed with private ensuite, full bathroom. The third bedroom offers double queens with a hall bathroom (tub & shower combo) just 2 steps away. Your reservation at this property includes all bed and bath linens, with beds freshly made upon arrival, a "starter kit" of essentials and your departure cleaning.

WHD outdoor grilling area offers 4 large Green Egg smoker/grills – plan a beachside meal grilling your favorite fresh local seafood! The owner also offers use of their stock of beach chairs and beach umbrellas, as well as pool/sand toys for fun! There are oceanfront pool, lazy river and large hot tub for relaxing fun. There is an on-site gym, but feel free to take the week off. There are plenty of lounge chairs around the pool deck to catch some rays. Or just step over the dunes and your feet are in the sand.

Just minutes away, in the heart of Windy Hill, North Myrtle Beach is our most popular destination, Barefoot Landing. Enjoy broadway-style live musical productions at The Alabama Theatre. Famous concert performances are a regular at the House of Blues & over 100 shops and restaurants criss-cross the boardwalks over the open waters. The waterfront complex has undergone a huge makeover to bring in fresh new specialty boutiques and great eateries. There are kids attractions and weekly summer outdoor concerts to go with the fireworks displays. You'll find everything from the best beach wear, shoe shopping, wonderful sweet shops filled with treats, to LIVE alligators to amaze. You can rent jet skis on the Waterway, cruise in a dinner boat, rent a pontoon or guided fishing expedition, & even enjoy the views from a number of restaurants.

Amazing condo. Can't get any closer to the beach. There is a grocery store near by and the kitchen has most things your need to prepare meals. Comfortable beds. I want definitely stay here again.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: When we arrived on Sunday, we received a four digit code for the electronic door lock. The code would NOT unlock the door. When we reached the emergency contact for the rental agency, she suggested that we try the pound sign before or after the four digits. There was no pound sign, only a lock icon and a house icon. After trying combinations of those icons and the four digits, we gained access to the condo. The correct entry was house icon then four digits. This was never mentioned in our access information.On our last full day, Saturday, we returned to the condo mid day and found that we could not get in. Another call to the emergency contact, who contacted the owner, and found that the owner had changed the entry code a day early.We have rented dozens of apartments, condos, cabins, and houses and have never experienced this kind of difficulty with access. This level of stress does not make for a restful vacation.The Owner Direct Vacation Rental staff was very helpful but they do not control the access code to the electronic lock. The out of town owners controlled the access code.The condo was lovely and very comfortable.

Beautiful Property

Nicely maintained with well equipped kitchen. The bed in the primary reminds me I need a new mattress at home. I got better sleep here than at home! The papasan chairs in the living room and Adirondack chairs on the balcony are a little tough for those with mobility issues, but the sofa and loveseat in the living room and table/chairs on the balcony are nice alternatives. Check in/out are done off property, but not too far away. Just something to keep in mind for logistics. We’ve stayed at this property before and would do it again!

The new updates to the unit give it a very bright, classic , coastal vibe. The plank tile floors in living room and Master bedroom reflect more of the beautiful light from outside as well as the sea foam green paint throughout the entire area that replaced the wallpaper. New furniture was very comfortable. The management company was excellent to work with and our unit was very clean.

I even had the pleasure of having a new sofa delivered - on my birthday, no less! Everything about this condo and its location is perfect! The shower head made me never want to get out of the shower. I wondered if anyone would notice if I brought it home with me! Haha My daughter spent my second week with me for our second mother-daughter get-away together, last year being our first. When I asked if she would like to try somewhere else next year, she was adamant that we return, not only to NMB, but to this very condo! Thank you for making this such a special retreat!

Reviewer Comments: We are a group of 7 people, thoroughly enjoyed the view from balcony, lazy river, hot tub, play cards/puzzles indoor.Worst part is their logistics- hot water from shower is not enough for 2-3 people, have to wait for 30 mins to get hot water again.The water feels like hard water, not softened.They don’t have washer liquid, no body wash, no shampoo etc.. we should get them.. which is a suprise, they charged more for house keeping.

It offers everything you could possibly need. The location is perfect -- safe location and close to everything. The view from the balcony is spectacular! Love sitting out there listening to the ocean and people-watching. It was a wonderful reunion for my two longtime friends and I the first week and a really special mother-daughter get-away the second week. I even went out of my comfort zone and went parasailing!!! I'll never do it again, but I'm so proud of myself for doing what I never dreamed I'd allow myself to do. Thank you to the owners for sharing their beautiful vacation home. I have such treasured memories.

First the positive things: the condo was very nice, well maintained, had perfect views and was in a perfect location. It was very clean and had everything we needed. Pool area was a little on the small side but we were there at a time when most kids had gone back to school so it wasn’t a big issue for us. Now for the negative things: These things might not be an issue for everyone but for us it was disappointing. The office was very difficult to find from the address given. It leads you to a totally different area. We had to call the office twice and then they had to stay on the phone with us to give us step by step directions as we drove to the office. We were told we had to go there before going to the condo to get “our keys and information binder”. Actually we weren’t given keys - just a door code. We felt they could have texted us the door code and left the binder in the condo but then they wouldn’t have been able to charge the $300 refundable deposit which was charged us upon our arrival at the office. It took 3 weeks for us to receive a refund after calling 3 times to see where it was. Not cool when they know immediately once the place is cleaned if there is any damage. It shouldn’t take 3 weeks and numerous calls to get a refund. Lastly, the description in the write up on the bathroom situation is incorrect. We had three girls in our party and we each wanted our own bathroom in our bedroom. The condo write up says the 3rd bedroom has a queen bed with a private bath but actually it is across the hall from the bedroom. We specifically picked this condo over another because the write up said the bathroom was in the room. If we would have known it wasn’t, we would have chosen the other condo.

The management staff was VERY friendly, helpful and professional. The room was very clean and had an excellent view from the balcony. The property, including pool, lazy river and hot tub were all in great condition and very clean. We met a couple of residents who lived at Windy Hill Dunes full time and they were super nice and also helpful. The unit itself was excellent. It was very affordable and there was plenty of room for us and 5 kids. It had 3 bathrooms, a full kitchen, and a washer/dryer. The A/C worked great, and there was free Wi-Fi and plenty of channels to watch on TV. The description and pictures on the website are very accurate.The building is in a great location; it took us only 15 minutes to get to Broadway at the Beach, even less time to Barefoot Landing and we were in walking distance of some great small restaurants. There was a place just a couple of minutes walking distance down the beach to do Parasailing, Banana Boats and Kayaking.I would highly recommend Windy Hill Dunes #1502.

Ideal location and facility

We love the location . . . the view is spectacular and shopping of all types is close by! We have found that during these 'winter' months, the pool and lazy river are slow to be operational . . . we would love it if these amenities could be up and going for at least March. The owner is constantly providing upgrades/replacement to aging appliances, flooring, etc.. We appreciate this and look forward to a continuation of this practice - we have reserved again for 2019, The ODVR team are the best when it comes to responding to requests, 'fixing' things and answering questions!!

The female attendant at the pool was very friendly, kept everyone under control and very attentive to the needs of the guests. The owners even had a "welcome to our condo" card for us! We would definitely rent this one again!!!

Delightful stay in a beautiful condo!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have a large family with kiddos who keep getting larger! We have 3 teenage girls, 1 almost teen boy, 1 mother-in law, 1 hubby, and me. We love the N Myrtle Beach area, and were on the search for a condo that we could afford and that could hold all of us. This property was perfect. It was well-kept, renovated, and has simply stunning views! We would definitely recommend and revisit this beautiful home!

Will Rent this Condo Again
