Cute Bungalow Getaway

Our second stay at this lovely property. Every amenity we could need was provided and it’s located in a quiet, friendly neighborhood with easy access to many downtown venues just minutes away. Highly recommended!

The house looks exactly like photos. Yet the process was different than any other reservations that I have made in the pass. Most home owners send you a message informing you of their process. I contacted the owner and his response was check in is at 3 and I would receive the instructions the day of at 2 something. Well I contacted him again after 3 to let him know we were headed there. The house has add on so we contacted the owner to see if someone was staying in the house behind us. There wasn’t anyone there. The neighborhood has a lot going on a lot of construction. The owner did have a few things he left for us a bottle of Champagne which was thoughtful, even though we really don’t drink it was still thoughtful. He did have plenty of snacks, alcohol, drinks and water for sale, which was very different. Never been to a house where they sale items. Most home owners leave a case of water especially to use in the Keurig. We stay a total of 4 nights my husband was more than ready to go home due to something had bit him. He had bite marks all of him. The back porch and kitchen is very nice! The shower only has some dispensers with shampoo. Again the homeowner is thoughtful not sure if he has the mattress protection cover removed during each stay due to in the home stayers manual he ask that you not remove it. After coming into the house my husband wanted to cancel the trip and go to a hotel instead, but it was too late cancel. The house smelled as if the homeowner just left, manly. Also there are personal photos through out the house.

Cozy Bungalow Gem

The owner, Torey, could not have been more helpful, polite, and accommodating. He quickly responded to all of my questions and came by to greet us shortly after our arrival. The property is a charmingly restored bungalow and every amenity we needed was amply provided. We enjoyd our long weekend stay immensely!

I’m a bit of a quite free sprit. I’m into exploring new places. A dog lover, and plant guy. I really enjoy cooking, and trying new foods from all around the world.I’m a quite free spirit who enjoys exploring new places. A transplant to Texas. A Floridian at heart. A dog lover, a plant guy, a musician. I spend most my week playing guitar and singing, an occupational requirement. I’m eclectic. Most times I’m silly and full of jokes. I laugh a lot. I smile just as much. If I’m not smiling, I’m usually in deep thought about something I will soon forget. I love to cook and try new foods from around the world. I will try to cook anything at least once. I don’t always succeed. The up side is I love to eat, so trying again is never an issue. I’m a travel junkie. I find time to gather odds and ends from my adventures. Many items are displayed throughout my home. What I enjoy most about being an Airbnb host is that I’m allowed to provide guests with a space to enjoy their special moments. I strive to provide quality accommodations to each guest, during every visit. For my fellow explorers, the space is a great starting point for any adventure into the vibrant, diverse, and fascinating city that I now call home. Whether a family trip to see the Astros, a journey into space at NASA, or a visit to see one of the most beloved events at the Houston Rodeo, “Mutton Bustin',” I welcome everyone. I want each guest to feel at home, to relax, unwind, and recharge in a space nestled perfectly in the Eastend of Houston.
