This rental was such a pleasant surprise — spotlessly clean, super cozy, and full of unique touches that made it feel special. The host’s communication was top‑notch, and the warm welcome made me feel right at home. The mornings and evenings were my favorite part — from watching the tiny sand crabs skitter along the shore to seeing the water quietly flow inland and then drift back out again, I felt completely at peace and genuinely inspired.I’d absolutely stay here again and will if I am back in the area.

One of the best places I’ve ever stayed at, super friendly host who was very attentive and left us snacks upon arrival which was awesome after driving all day, he also took us on his boat around the island which was a really awesome experience, place was super clean and freshly redone, really nice backyard with access to a grill and a river with kayaks. I stayed here with my girlfriend and we plan on staying here again

This property is a perfect getaway when traveling with dogs. Huge fenced yard! Honestly the pictures don't do it justice. Super clean, nicely decorated, very comfortable sleep number bed. Kitchen was stocked nicely plates, pans, and such. I know it sounds silly, but we travel a lot and it was so nice to have a sharpe knife in the kitchen! The TV's are huge! (husband really appreciated that). We did not get a chance to try the kayaks or fish but definitely available if you have time. The neighborhood is super quiet and lovely to walk in. We took the dogs on several walks even on warmer days because a section is covered by trees. The owner, William, is very friendly and helpful. Made sure everything was going well. He gave us great recommendations for restaurants. Will definitely stay here again!

Hi, I’m William! I was born and raised right here in Richmond Hill, Georgia, and I’ve been lucky to call the Georgia coast home my entire life. I love everything that makes this area special—fishing, boating, spending time on the water, and enjoying the peaceful, laid-back lifestyle our rivers and marshes offer.

Hosting guests at Low Tide Lounge has become one of my favorite things to do. I enjoy helping people experience the same coastal beauty I grew up with—whether it’s watching the tides, casting a line off the dock, or just relaxing and unplugging. My goal is always to make sure every guest feels welcome, taken care of, and able to enjoy the best of coastal Georgia.

If you ever need local tips on fishing spots, restaurants, or things to do, I’m always happy to help. I look forward to hosting you!

Low Tide Lounge sits just steps from the peaceful river in Midway, GA, surrounded by quiet coastal vibes, wildlife, and the natural beauty of the marsh. The tides roll in and out each day, and you can watch fish jumping, birds flying low over the water, and boats easing down the Hackett Canal. It’s the kind of place where mornings feel calm, evenings bring amazing colors over the water, and everything slows down in the best way.

One of my favorite things about this neighborhood is how relaxing and private it feels, while still being close to everything you need. It’s a friendly, laid-back community where people wave when they pass by and everyone appreciates the coastal life. I love being able to walk outside, smell the salt air, and see the river right there — less than 50 feet away. Whether it’s fishing off the dock, kayaking at sunrise, or sitting outside listening to the water move with the tide, this place has a special kind of peace you don’t find just anywhere.

If you’re looking for quiet mornings, beautiful sunsets, and a true coastal Georgia experience, you’ll feel right at home here.

この宿泊施設の特徴

Low Tide Lounge offers the kind of waterfront experience you rarely find at this price point. The guest house sits less than 50 feet from the river, giving you peaceful water views, direct access to Hackett Canal, and the true coastal Georgia atmosphere people come here for. You can fish, crab, or launch a kayak right from the property — no driving required.

What really makes this place stand out is the combination of privacy, nature, and convenience. It feels tucked away and relaxing, but you’re still only minutes from town, restaurants, marinas, and everything you need. Guests always tell me how quiet and calming it is here, especially with the sound of the tide coming in and out.

Because I live on the property, I’m always available if guests need anything, but the guest house has its own private entrance and space, so you can enjoy complete privacy during your stay. Whether you’re here to unwind, fish, explore the Georgia coast, or just enjoy a peaceful getaway, Low Tide Lounge gives you that perfect balance of comfort and coastal charm.
