1ベッドルーム、1バス...完璧な隠れ家。目を覚まし、ストレッチして、窓から水と自然の素晴らしい景色を眺めます。ご要望があれば、カシータにコンチネンタルブレックファーストをお届けします。のんびりとした朝を過ごした後は、2人分のスペースのある屋外シャワーを試してみるだけです。カシータに戻ると、イルカのポッドがドックの近くで遊んでいるのを見ることができます。
日が続くと、セントにボートで行くことができます。キャサリンまたはオッソバウ島でピクニックランチを楽しみながらビーチでリラックス。午後半ばには、The Casitaに戻り、広々とした屋外キッチンが登場します。グリルを燃やして夜の食事を準備する（これまでに準備したどの食事よりも味が良い）か、食事を用意することもできます！そしてもちろん地元のシーフードレストランで外食するオプションが常にあります。
この美しい隠れ家は、I-95に近いですが、あらゆるものから遠いです。ペットを預ける心配はありません。また、チェックインまたはチェックアウトの時間はありません。
ボートを持ってきて、ドッキングしてから、魚のクリーニングステーションを使用して、毎日の漁獲量をクリーニングしてください！地元の釣り憲章も利用可能です。

A great weekend getaway!

Absolutely loved our stay! It was amazing to wake up to the river every morning. The tide was so fun to watch, and the views were incredible. The outdoor kitchen was a total highlight. Cookie was truly wonderful—so kind and always helpful. This is a must-stay, and we’ll definitely be back. I’m from the area, so it’s great to know we now have a place to book when we return!

Nature with comfort

Its a beautiful location, both the house and surrounding area. The house is small but perfect for 2, with a large outdoor kitchen, hottub overlooking the river and a dock that is perfect for fishing and crabbing. It's definitely a more wild area so you will see plenty of animals, many sharing the patio with you. It's a bit buggy so make sure you bring some bug spray or torches if you don't want to fist fight the flies while you cook. Past that it's a wonderful place and Cookie is a wonderful host that will go out of her way to make sure you're taken care of.

Cookie and the property are wonderful 10 Stars !!

We absolutely loved the Casita , caught redfish right from the dock. Cookie was so accommodating and the swinging bed is SO relaxing !! I loved the decor and the outdoor kitchen. Can't wait to come back someday. Highly recommend staying here.

Peaceful Easy Feeling!

One of our favorite trips! The accommodations were just lovely. The hostess made sure we had everything we could possibly want and the people we met couldn’t have been nicer! I highly recommend.

Heaven on Earth

These pictures simply do not do this little cottage justice. Everything is meticulous planned out and laid out so well, it really makes use of the space in the best way possible. I'll admit, I had my doubts about the hanging bed, but not only was it incredibly comfortable, the slow, gentle, swaying was incredible. To say nothing of the views. I saw dolphins swim by the dock every single day, at least once a day. It feels like living in a painting. And the host, Cookie, was absolutely incredible to deal with! She was so kind and friendly, and went out of her way to make sure I had everything I possiblely needed throughout my stay. I will ABSOLUTELY be coming back for a longer stay. This place is an absolute gem!

Cookie is the best host.

The place was everything described and more. What really made it 5 stars and more was Cookie. She is by far the best host I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with on vrbo. Cookie reached out before our trip to speak in person. She gave us all the information about the area, went over different options of things to do in the area. Throughout our stay, she reached out to see if we were ok and if we needed anything. We will definitely be back again. Thank you.

Lovely setting!! Great Bed and hot tub!

Cookie made the three (myself, husband and dog) of us feel very welcome and at home . The breakfast food was very tasty. We enjoyed seeing a little of Savannah and getting to know the local area.

Peaceful, relaxing get-away

We really enjoyed the peace and quiet to get away from it all. Kayaking and following the dolphins was an experience that we found exciting and we really enjoyed watching the fish jump and the dolphins from the hot tub. Cookie was friendly, helpful and willing to do what she could to make our experience the best.

Never wanted to leave

I dont know where to start. It was all just perfect. The outdoor kitchen was amazing. Even when it was raining, we were able to comfortably cook and hang out. There was no need for anything except the food to cook. The home itself was so cozy. I will always be begging for a suspended bed. So wonderful. There are beautiful views no matter which window you look from. Waking up to watch the sunrise without leaving the bed is remarkable. Outdoor showers, night time hot tub relaxing, fishing from the pier.. there were memories made, for sure. Cookie was amazing and offered far more than expected. 11/10 recommend. **I will be back, Cookie**

Little Piece of Heaven

Cookie is a super hostess and a great chef! We had the anniversary weekend we’d hoped for - very chill and no responsibilities! The place is so cute, comfortable with an amazing view of the river in a private feeling setting. We plan to come back again and take advantage of the boats, floats and day trips. Thank you Cookie, Alana and Lisa! P.S. Our little dog Louis loved sneaking into the main house and getting a little cuddle from Cookie. He had a great vacation, too!

Comfortable, quiet and beautifully decorated

Such a nice private spot on the river. We were sad the hot tub wasn't working, even though Cookie tried so hard to get it fixed in a timely manner. The outdoor kitchen is so wonderfully equipped and it was a real treat for us Minnesotans to be able to cook outside in the middle of the winter! This would not work well for more than two people, but the adjoining rental (under Colonel's cabins) was gorgeous and had 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. If you have a group and want to rent both so you get the huge outdoor kitchen, you will be able to party like a rock star!

Weekend Escape

My husband and I decided to head out of town for the weekend and wanted to find a property that was out of the way but still afforded comfort and convenience. Also, Covid limited the distance we felt comfortable traveling so we planned to drive. We arrived later than scheduled and had the pleasure of meeting up with Cookie as we were unloading. To say the our hostess went above and beyond isn't even a strong enough an expression to describe how wonderful she is and how great a hostess she is. She welcomed us into her home and provided a one of kind experience that we surely would not have received somewhere else. We thoroughly enjoyed the Casita, the expansive outdoor kitchen, the cozy and relaxing interior, and the spacious vistas off the patio and dock. The property is quiet, secluded and serene. Multiple bird species inhabit the area like bald eagles, blue heron and water fowl. We cooked our meals every day in the kitchen and enjoyed the fire-pit during what is probably normal January weather in Georgia but chilly for us southern Floridians. Left the snow for the birds--and dolphins

Our first winter as empty-nesters meant we could get out of dodge (and 20" of snow) but in a pandemic, our usual fav places (Mexico, South America) were not available. Casita seemed like a perfect alternative--and boy were we right! It was a month of pure joy. Although my partner and I both had a full slate of work daily, at 5:30 each evening we were rewarded with a beverage, fresh seafood, a soothing hot tub, and nature. Watching the birds in the colors of the sunset--including the local bald eagle who made several appearances--was a perfect end to every day. And then there were the dolphins—how can you have a bad day if dolphins are swimming by your windows? Even when the weather was 50 and drizzly, the evenings almost always cleared up and the stars were incredible. Cookie cannot have been a better host (and absolutely amazing cook). Everything was as advertised--and better. The home was clean, quaint, quiet, and so beautifully decorated. We slept like champs in the hanging bed and used the outdoor kitchen every day--it was well appointed and super fun. The coolers (and ice machine on the property) were perfect to store all of the amazing seafood we purchased at the local fish stores. A bit like glamping for those of us who don't glamp or camp. My only complaint was my weight gain--not anticipated but well worth it!

NOT AS ADVERTISED! SPIDER INFESTED!!

I am forced to leave a negative review due to the fact that the house was not as advertised.Our stay was going to be sat-wed &as we were on the way to the house Cookie text me that the gas,outside kitchen&hottub does not work which the hottub was not a big deal to us being i was 7&half months pregnant at the time of our check in but we were still being charged for it. Upon arrival@10:30pm on Sat we entered the house and started to unpack my husband proceeded to bring our stuff in the house,which he had a flashlight in his hand when he came inside and noticed a very LARGE SPIDER&spider web in the corner where the brick wall joins the bedroom.He then started looking around even more&seen 2 more spiders near the ceiling fan and even more spider webs throughout the home at which point we contacted Cookie&ask for her to come take a look at what we had found.She arrived around 11pm and we showed her the pictures we had taken and told her that not knowing whether the spiders were poisonous or not that we did not feel comfortable staying in this house.She then proceeded telling us that she had another house we could look at and possibly stay in if we wanted.So we loaded up everything&went to the other house just down the street,we went inside&there were as many if not more spider webs in that house.We then decided not to stay at either location.At this point Cookie informed us that she would have no control over giving a refund and that we would have to contact VRBO which we said we would do the following day.Now it was around 12midnight&we decided to part ways.We made contact with her the following day to seek out a refund after being informed by VRBO that the refund would have to come from her.She then proceeded to tell us that her houses were not dirty&that they were off the beaten path that we should not have left due to 1 little spider&1 spider web.She then told us that she was going to have an exterminator come out on Mon which she said neither of them seen a spider.Then she said a few messages later that the spider we had seen was not poisonous.Either way we did not feel comfortable staying at either location due to the 3 spiders we had seen and the signs of spiders.So at this point she does not want to give a full refund&tells us that we are just trying to hurt a small business.We have not received an apology or any refund. She has been very difficult to deal with&she has now blocked my #.I hope you have a better experience than we did.

Beautiful and Peaceful

The Fabulous Casita

The Casita is a fabulous property for 2. Beautifully decorated with everything you could possibly need including an outdoor kitchen! The dock is super also. We enjoyed our stay watching the dolphins and fishing all with awesome sunsets! Cookie and her team are simply the very best!! We highly recommend booking The Casita!!

I was a 'City Girl', but a friend brought me to the Island and their family spent over 30 years on Colonels Island enjoying and celebrating Island Life. My first time visiting the Island, I thought I was going to some Godforsaken middle-of-nowhere places. After a few days, I knew that I never wanted to leave!
