The Space:

Experience South Carolina living at its finest. This conveniently located home offers an ideal home base in the Old Village District. Shem Creek, Pitt Street Bridge, and various shops and restaurants are nearby. Downtown Charleston and beautiful beaches are also just a short drive away. Spend the day exploring the area, then return home to relax on one of two covered porches. A large fenced yard adds to the charm of the outdoor space, while alfresco dining and a grill set the scene for home cookouts.



Three sofas offer ample seating in the welcoming living area. Kick back and stream shows on the smart TV. Prepare delicious meals in the well-equipped kitchen, outfitted with a full suite of appliances. Handy extras include a coffee maker, blender, and toaster.



Comfort awaits in the primary suite, which features a queen bed and an en-suite bathroom with a soaking tub and separate walk-in shower. One of the guest bedrooms has a TV.



Complimentary WiFi, a washer/dryer, a Pack ‘n Play, and an air mattress are provided.

Old Village hideaway was the perfect spot for our family escape from a winter storm. The home was inviting and comfortable with everything we needed. The living area was especially enjoyable as it had several sitting spaces and was adjacent to the open kitchen. We were traveling with our 83-year-old mother, so the first floor master suite was wonderful for her as we didn’t want her to have to climb stairs. The host (company) was very communicative and made sure we had contact information if there had been any issues. The neighborhood was very nice and walkable to food and shopping. My only regret is that we didn’t get to take advantage of the outdoor spaces due to the unusual cold weather from the winter storm. And the only thing I would add to the amenities is a standard coffee maker.

Only negative was lack of responses to questions prior to booking. Very responsive to issue we had while there. Parking was ample but needed to know which direction to open the gate to driveway as one direction was a very tight fit to get a car in. Well equipped kitchen and plus was laundry. Lots of seating in living room. Need to know to bring access for personal streaming services though.

House needs updating. Bed upstairs is VERY squeaky and uncomfortable. Needs to have an additional trash bag or two as part of the supplies included.

Great location and house!

There were 8 of us in town for my daughter’s college graduation. House is spacious and worked great for us. Absolutely loved sitting out on the front porch and gathering in the screened back porch. Upstairs bathroom situation was a little weird but it worked out. There are two full baths on the main floor (one in master) and 3 bedrooms and one bath on second floor. Perfect location and management was very responsive . Thank you!!

Top shelf rental

This rental fit the bill entirely. We were a family of nine and they lay out of the house was very conducive to all the activity that took place including Thanksgiving dinner. House was very clean. The management service was excellent and on top of things checking in via text to make sure we were comfortable and accommodated well. Location was perfect for our needs for parks and outdoor spaces in reasonable proximity to the house. Would highly recommend this house to future visitors.

Phun times at Pherigo!

Comfortable and roomy, this house in the heart of the Old Village in Mt Pleasant, SC is perfect for large families with quick access to many fun features in Charleston! Walking the neighborhood was especially lovely in the evenings!

Shipyard getaway

We enjoyed our stay for the week. This location was close to the shipyard and was big enough for 3 of our families to stay. Lots of room, great location and lots of kitchen supplies. Great screened in back porch to sit and play games and eat, great front porch to sit and have coffee and lots of sitting room inside. Tons of stores, restaurants and things to do around the area.

Awesome House and Great Location

Stayed here with 6 friends for a long weekend. The house was as advertised in the listing. It was about a 15 minute uber to King Street and about the same to get to the beach. Perfect location and the house was comfortable for everybody. Also had a great outdoor area.

Great Stay

Great location. Room for outdoor grilling and games. Not far at all from Shem creek and king street. A short uber ride from either. Many Beaches to shoose from are close by as well. Clean house great appliances and tons of space.

Family visit to Charleston

This home was perfect for four couples. There was plenty of room both inside and out for meals and evening card games. Great location for sightseeing and numerous places for good food.
