The Space:

Make yourself at home at this ground-floor condo across the street from the beach access at 25th Avenue! Admire the ocean and beach views from your screened porch, which happens to be equipped with a couple of comfortable chairs and even a swing. Make memories together while enjoying the on-site basketball court, ensuring you always stay on top of your game. This marvelous and spacious getaway is conveniently located in downtown Isle of Palms, just a quick walk to restaurants and shops. The Isle of Palms Marina offers boat rentals, tours, and island excursions just down the street! Less than one mile away is the Isle of Palms County Park, a haven for outdoor enthusiasts - there, you can find a picnic area, sand volleyball, children's play area, snack bar, and boardwalk. Downtown Charleston is just 14 miles from Isle of Palms, where you can enjoy historic area tours.



You can rinse off in the outdoor shower after a day on the sand. Step inside, and find that the large rooms and modern updates make it ideal for families who want to spread out and relax. Central air-conditioning makes it easy to stay cool during the summer. Wind down on the sectional and watch your favorite show on the cable TV. Prepare homemade delicacies in the well-equipped full kitchen, or head outside and fire up the private gas grill for a tasty barbecue meal. The property also features a washer/dryer for your convenience, so you don't have to worry about packing heavy bags.



Consider also renting the top floor unit to book the whole home. Top and bottom floors do not connect from inside the home. There are separate stairs for top floor entrance on side of home.

The house was clean and served our purpose as a family vacation stay, however we had several issues with the bed frames and the front door not locking which we brought to the renters attention several times and was never addressed by the local team.

Online listing didn’t mention that this was a duplex. Based off the pictures we had planned to use the balcony which was not available. Spot was clean with and pet friendly.

Host and communication were excellent. Location was the best part of this house. Amenities seemed newer but still couldn’t shake the feeling of being in a basement. Great stay if that doesn’t matter and you like being close to beach and downtown IOP.

Great location

Really great place. Just know that this is the downstairs of a two unit house. Footsteps from upstairs guest will be heard. Otherwise a great place and location.

Isle of Palms getaway

The house worked out well for us. The house was clean and ready for us as promised. We had very good communication with Vacasa from booking through departure. We enjoyed the easy access to the ocean and easy drive into Charleston.

Overall the unit itself was great. As for the communication, it was excellent UNTIL there was an issue. The unit claims there is a grill on site that is useable. While there is a nice one for the upstairs unit. The bottom unit is saddled with old rusted out grill with only a small section of the burner working. We brought this up to the host on a Tuesday morning and was acknowledged by management. However, I had to keep following up.The host just kept saying it was being "looked" into. By the time we left that Friday, nothing was done. Again, overall the bottom unit is nice. Just don't expect to be able to grill out.

Great , easy family spot

Enjoyed our time at this rental! Easy, simple checkin process, got to the house and it was really clean, easy to access and well setup. Nice front porch to sit on in the mornings for coffee and there was even coffee there for us to make for the first morning which was great since we had a late arrival! Wish we could've had a late departure but understand that covid puts a wrinkle in the cleaning protocols. Found the whole place to be a nice getaway! We would definitely stay again.

Just okay

Location was great. The toilet paper holder in one bathroom just hangs from the wall and the trash can should be replaced. More attention to the small details would be nice.

Location great

This duplex is dwarfed by all the surrounding posh beach front homes but the Property listing is accurate. I think the upstairs property is the primary listing and is somewhat more luxurious in furnishings. But for our Pandemic get away the downstairs property was more than adequate. Rooms clean but sparsely furnished. The sun porch was wonderful for the puppy and AM yoga, and the swing was a delight. Would suggest real mats in the bathroom and kitchen.(not just at the front door) Both bathrooms were showing their age, but were clean. Nice to have onsite laundry for all the sand!!. Only other suggestion is to provide the basic spices for cooking as a courtesy.
