The beach is less than half a mile-walk for this home. Just down the street, The Boathouse will provide you with a delicious dining experience with a memorable view. Breach Inlet is also a great spot for fishing, both less than half a mile away. If you're an avid golfer or would like to practice your swing, you'll be thrilled by the numerous golf courses within a few miles from your vacation rental. Downtown Isle of Palms is just a two mile-drive, where you’ll find dining, shops, and the grocery store. Less than 12 miles away, historic Charleston awaits with its traditional cuisine, Civil War heritage, popular landmarks, and more. Make sure to visit one of Charleston’s most photographed icons on Johns Island: The Angel Oak Tree. It’s said to be the largest live oak east of the Mississippi. It’s 65 feet high and 300-400 years old.

Perfect Spot to Relax

We loved the house, top to bottom. Ocean views and sounds of the waves made it very special. The location is wonderful for beach access and touring the area.

Very nice house, location and beach! We really enjoyed our stay and the house is a very short walk to the beach in a very nice neighborhood. The key lock box is to the left when you park even though instructions state to the right. Otherwise everything was great!

Easy 2 minute walk to beach

Beautifully maintained home includes an upper deck and screened porch. Several stairs to get into the home but worth the climb. Easy access to the beach.

Wonderful Location

House was beautiful inside! Enjoyed the two outdoor porches. Very close to the Ocean! Boathouse Restaurant was delicious and within walking distance. Plenty of room and seating. Kitchen had everything we needed. If you like Italian food the Bricco Bracco is a must!

Our third stay in 10 years

This was our third stay here in the past 10 years. The property is nice and an easy walk to the beach. The onlybproblem that wd had was that the master bath shower was full of black mildew all along the base. We txted the property manager on day 1 and asked that it be cleaned an caulked immediately. They said they would take care of it the next day, but they never came. This meant we could only use one shower for our week stay. Property is great but managment is not.

Lovely

Good location, very comfortable home. Love the screened porch and upper deck. Was a little difficult finding the key box in the dark. More specific instructions as to location of the box and a light left on would be helpful.

Relaxing Stay

We enjoyed our stay. The house was cute and spacious. Loved that we could sit on the deck and enjoy the relaxing sounds of the beach. We would stay there again. Only one down side was the fire detector in the main bedroom was not in place. Other than that, everything was great.

Mixed Bag

Vacasa was great to work with. They made sure to provide all of the information needed in a timely manner. The check-in and check-out process was very easy. The house was a mixed bag. The location was great. It is a quiet and peaceful area. The outdoor space was also fantastic. The top deck has a view of the ocean and the bottom screened in porch is nice for sitting outside. The bathrooms and kitchen are updated and very nice. We cooked on Christmas day and the kitchen is well stocked with everything that you need. The television is great and we had no problems with the wifi and streaming. Also, the house was clean for the most part. However, the house definitely needs some TLC. Most of the furniture feels old and outdated. Many pieces are damaged or just worn and stained. There are some minor issues that just need repaired (a broken lamp and broken blinds in the second bedroom, a missing smoke detector in the master bedroom, etc). The carpet upstairs is worn out and stained. It just could use some general upkeep. Also, we could never find the source but there was a strong musty/old odor in the house. In fairness to Vacasa - it was the Christmas weekend and we did not ask them to do any repairs during our stay. The house worked for our stay and we didn't spend too much time at the house with so many fun things to do in the area. We will stay in that area again when we come back and we will use Vacasa again. However, we would not choose to stay at this house again.

Quiet stay by the Ocean

We loved the screened in porch and the very short walk to the beach. Very quiet neighborhood and easy to get on and off the island. Water pressure in showers could be a tad better. We were expecting to use the washer/dryer in the unit but the washer was not working and we received very little information from management regarding what the problem was and when it would be fixed. Information was not updated without us having to message several times about the status. We stayed 17 nights and expected to use the washer/dryer. Ended up going to a laundry mat which wasted relaxing porch time. We would stay again but would ask if the washer was fixed before booking. Kitchen could use some more bowls but other than that it was well stocked with dishes and utensils. Would be nice if they supplied more paper products and extra towels (couldn't wash them due to washer was broken) for each guest for the price you pay.

Hurricane Blues

Booked a 4 night, 5 day stay, had to leave 2 days earlier because of a hurricane approaching the area, Vasaca gave excuses for no refund on remaining time☹️☹️☹️ Lost a customer, won’t do business with them again Other than the customer service being greedy, we had a great time for 2 days. Will go back to the area again but will not book anything through Vasaca !!!!

Clean property- spacious house

Enjoyed our stay- very clean house and close to the beach. House did smell a bit musty but that's probably due to the closeness to the ocean. Construction going on next door which woke us up at 7am during our stay- a bit annoying as there was a noise ordinance for us but apparently it doesn't apply for construction. It was unsightly as well as there was a big garbage dumpster right outside of the house which brought vermin around in the evening. Other than this temporary issue we would choose to stay here again when the construction is over. Rental agency said there could be a chance for early check in or late checkout but that was not an option. Driving for the keys was a bit of a pain as well but overall we enjoyed our stay!
