The Space:

From the moment you step inside this light-filled condo in Summer House Villas, you'll be treated to wonderful views of the Atlantic Ocean and the palms swaying in the breeze. Watch the waves roll in from the living room, the dining area, the kitchen, and the primary suite, and enjoy easy oceanfront access to the beach and a community swimming pool.



The beach and the pool are just a few steps away, allowing you to easily spend your days swimming, sunbathing, and taking long walks on the sand. Venture across the street for breakfast or lunch at the golf course pro shop, then hit a few balls on the driving range or play a round of golf. The heart of downtown Isle of Palms - with its many shops, cafes, and restaurants - is four miles west, and the world-famous restaurants of historic downtown Charleston (17 miles west) are an easy day trip away.

Check-in time: 4:00 PM.

Check-out time: 10:00 AM.

All guests shall abide by the good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.

Nice resort but needs some upgrades

The resort is nice. I did was not aware when I booked is that it this room does not get wristbands with access to all of the amenities on the resort. Only access to the pool at out building. The shower in the master bedroom bathroom did not drain properly, the toilet bedroom master bathroom made and terrible noise that sounded like it was steaming, the other bathroom’s toilet would not flush properly and keep clogging. And the walls, windows and over space could have been cleaner .

Secondary place to stay

We came down to the Isle of Palms for celebrating my mother-in-law‘s 80th birthday and the house wasn’t quite big enough so we used this apartment which was 3 minutes drive away to for overflow. It was a great apartment. They were doing work on the lower basement level when we were there, but that should be all done by now. The bedrooms are good. They were spread apart from each other with bathrooms in the middle. Great view and nice pool to swim

Our 50th Wedding Anniversary

Beautiful Condo, Excellent location and the View over the ocean was Perfect. The maid service is outstanding, our unit was Spotless. You can see they even cleaned the light fixtures in bathrooms. Kitchen was well equipped. As far as Maintenace, TV in master bedroom did not work and took 3 days, multiple calls and text to resolve. The remote is still broken and I hope they replace it for the next guess

Fall vacation

Very clean and nicely decorated condo facing the ocean and overlooking the pool. This condo had everything we needed. We would def stay here again. There does seem to be mold on the ceiling in the dining room above the table near the vent that needs to be addressed. Other than that the condo is exceptional.

Fall Break escape

Love staying in Isle of Palms and Wild Dunes Resort . This Summer Cabin Condo was perfect and was very clean . Perfect view of the ocean from the balcony and living room, and only steps to the beach . Definitely coming back to this one .

Terribly disappointing

This condo was disappointing. The furniture and condo itself is old and outdated and the unit has not been well maintained over all. The washing machine was not working from the onset. We contacted the management company immediately and no one came to fix it for five days, despite many complaints from us. We had a lot of other issues as well-broken light switches, drawers not opening easily, an iron that didn’t work and an ironing board without a pad. The pool was also shut down for a couple of days for some unknown reason. Overall, we would not recommend this property.

Been gone too long!

Had a great stay at the Summer House property. We have not been to Ilse of Palms for 30 years. Check in was a breeze and the property was on the quiet side of the island. The owners clearly made an attempt at updating some of the furnishing. We enjoyed watching the deer and the sunrises in the mornings and hanging out at the pool! The view from the balcony was amazing. Will definitely be back!

It is a lovely condo in a great location. Great views of the beach and water. Very well equipped. Comfortable furniture. We'll stay here again.

Nice Ocean front view! Easy access to the beach and the pool.

This particular property had some major issues with the TVs in the bedrooms. Maintenance came 2x time and for three days we did not have TVs in the bedrooms, unacceptable!!The drapes are outdated and needs to be replaced!!

Great Condo with beautiful view

Four adults renting this property over a long weekend went extremely well. Although Couple #2 had to push the single beds together to make a king. Would have been nice to have two kings in the unit.

Winter weekend away

Property was well taken care of and more than what we needed for our short stay. The elevator didn’t work on Friday and Sat morning, but we called Vacasa and they contacted the property managers and it was fixed. (Or someone else also reported it). We would have lived better weather to walk on the beach, but the high winds and high tide didn’t work with us. Will do it again in warmer weather for sure.

Property was exectly as described. Apartment was clean and kitchen was fully equipped.

Great location, disappointing condo

The location is ideal - ocean front, short walk to the beach, and all located in a beautiful gated community. The rest of the stay goes downhill. When we arrived the door was slightly ajar where (I guess) housekeeping did not close/lock the door. The condo is not well maintained. The fee for housekeeping is a joke. I spent a lot of time cleaning. The kitchen countertop had rings and stains. The refrigerator handles were sticky and dirty as were the sides of the fridge door. The swipe of a dirty cloth smeared over the glass on the sliding glass door was visible as soon as we walked in. The same for the floor. The light switches are filthy. The arms of the chairs and sofa are stained, oily, and dirty. Food stains on the sofa pillows. Master bedroom drape rod broken, hanging from the wall not usable (we were advised that Vacasa was aware of that issue but it had not been repaired). Hair that was not ours in the master bath sink. The bathroom floors looked gross. The balcony table had never been cleaned. It was filthy black and took 2 cleanings to get rid of the grime. The balcony floor/turf looked as though it had never been swept or vacuumed. The master shower floor needs grout/caulking. The master bed mattress is very worn, lumpy, and just not comfortable. The sheets did not fit. Someone placed the TV timer for 7am, which awakened us. This was our first time renting a condo. We would love to return to the area and perhaps do another vacation rental, but NOT this condo.
