You will find a coastal getaway like no other here! This first-floor condo offers a fantastic location and easy beach access—precisely what you need for a breezy beach vacation. Enjoy a charming patio area surrounded by lush nature and outfitted with a bistro table. The condos at the Barefoot Beach Resort are lovely waterfront vacation rentals nestled snugly on the Intracoastal Waterway of Indian Shores, yet only steps from the pristine sands of the Gulf of Mexico. When you step into the lush, tropical landscape and see the frolicking dolphins and swooping seagulls, you know why many refer to it as one of the hidden gems of Old Florida. Barefoot Beach Resort is impeccably maintained and includes five acres of swaying palms, fragrant hibiscus, and a sparkling waterfront pool. The property promotes outdoor activities with a heated pool, BBQ grills, a private fishing dock, and rentable boat slips. Not to mention the beach right across the street. The resort also offers a water taxi service to local attractions.

Indian Shores is a quiet beach community just south of Indian Rocks Beach that is popular with everyone from snowbirds to seabirds. It is laden with Florida charm and fiery sunsets, and its assortment of shops and restaurants helps visitors feel right at home. It is 19 blocks long and is known for its friendly atmosphere, panoramic beaches, great seafood, and tropical wildlife. It is home to the Suncoast Seabird Sanctuary, one of the largest nonprofit bird hospitals in the US, and the fun-filled Splash Harbour Water Park.

Inside, the nicely appointed kitchen with granite countertops will help you when it's time to cook. The living area is as cozy as it looks, with comfortable furniture and a TV. An air mattress is provided as an extra sleeping option. You'll also have access to shared on-site laundry facilities.

Short Stay

We had a great experience! The beach is across the street only a half block away. The pool is large enough that even with many people there, we didn't feel like it was crowded. There is a boat dock behind the complex where we did some fishing. We also saw dolphin swim by! There are many eating establishments close by. The condo itself was clean and well decorated. If the opportunity arose, we would definitely stay there again!

Christmas beach trip

We loved Indian Shores! Such a cute place for a quick beach trip. The condo was clean and had easy check in. We loved walking to the beach and the coffee shop that’s right around the corner.

The unit was clean, roomy and comfortable. Having beach accessories was helpful. Hpwever, lack of parking for visitors was inconvenient. Otherwise we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Could have looked better

I have stayed at 4 other units in Barefoot in previous years. They all looked much better than the one we stayed in , in March Of 2023. This one needed some sprucing up in the kitchen! I was very dissappointed!!

Wonderful place thank you for sharing it with us!

Appreciated the soaps, beach towels, detergent, trash bags, etc. The only thing I’d add is Kleenex and a journal with a personal note from the owners and notes from where folks like to eat, day trips and local activities or sights to visit 😊

Location was nice

The sheets were stained and torn. But overall it was a nice place. They gave us a rate on line and after the fact it was double what they said per nigh. Close to the beach and it was beautiful!

Barefoot Beach Awesome as Usual

Barefoot Beach Resort was awesome again; have stayed their several times in the past. Condo was clean but needs some touch up painting and the louvered doors to the utility closet needs repaired. Updated beach chairs would be a nice addition as well as a outdoor patio umbrella. Otherwise a great vacation and will be returning to Barefoot Beach soon.

Perfect for a family

We had a nice stay. Location was a short walk to the beach. Pool area was very nice. Plenty of parking. Just as pictured. Nice place.

Perfect location

Great stay. Unit is small but has everything you need. Kitchen is well equipped, little outdoor patio is a good spot to relax. Walked by the pool but didn’t use it because we preferred to take advantage of the many beaches. Indian Rocks Beach is about a two minute walk away and was less congested and more relaxed than other beaches in the area. The location is perfect for restaurants and shopping, and very central so you are close to towns and tourist spots in both directions. Washer and dryer are close to the unit. Would recommend.

Nice place

Great pool and walking distance to the beach. We enjoyed being in an area that wasn’t super crowded. When we contacted the owner about a few things that were broken upon arrival, they responded quickly and had things fixed. This was our first time staying somewhere that came with “starter supplies” only. We had to purchase toilet paper, paper towel, and laundry detergent to wash the beach towels. The laundry facilities take quarters, or be prepared to download an app to pay. Overall we had a great stay.

property was clean and location was what was advertised and what we expected.amenities were good and unit was well furnished.would consider staying again in the future.two problems we encountered:lock combination we were provided did not work and no parking permit was available for our car.emergency combination for lock was promptly provided by rental agent via phone call.

Girls trip at the beach

Everything was perfect and the property and location to the inter coastal. Access to the beach was perfect! Beautiful pool and sunset dolphin watching was perfect! Definitely will book this location again!

Wildlife at the back door

By kids loved that the bay was just steps away!! We sat outside at night fishing and watched dolphins swim by and our sweet friend Gladys the Crane that sat with us all three nights!! Loved being 30 minutes away from Clearwater and St Pete in the other side!! Perfect little place for our family!! Will be back for sure !!!

Wonderful condo with amazing views

The condo is cute and comfortable at a very reasonable price. The location is great for day trips to St Pete or Clearwater. The restaurant next door has $15 dinner special which was wonderful food. There’s a small patio which is delightful for morning coffee, listening to the swaying palms. The bay is steps away with dolphins and great sun rise views. The beach is a very short walk. The check-in and -out times were strictly enforced.

Clean, great decor, great location

As summed up on my title, this Barefoot Beach condo was very clean, very good location for walking to the beach and the beachy decor theme was great! I did have trouble using the bathroom faucet as my hands are small and lacking in strength, the faucet was difficult to turn. Small item though. I would definitely return and/ or recommend to friends.

Great location! Just wished they would allow more than one vehicle to park in lot. We had two vehicles but had to park the other vehicle several blocks away.
