I definitely enjoyed my stay in Costa Rica and the house was beautiful and spacious for my family of 6 to sleep comfortably. Unfortunately, since we went during the rainy season, it was a bit nerv-wracking each and every time we had to drive up and down the extremely steep driveway and road between the house and the town of Samara. Even wirh an SUV and on a paved road, the tires would slide in the green moss. Other roads down the hill were so full of holes we got a flat tire the 3rd day. The house, the linens and pool were clean when we arrived, but the moment we brought out food or sugary beverages the ants would show up and just never leave. The wifi also fid not work, ever, but it forced a nice release from the outside social media world
Scott, the caretaker, was the star of our stay. Kind, attentive, helpful, resourceful, responsive and just overall good guy.
I would definitely reccomend this villa to my friends and family, but would advise not to go during the rainy season or without a 4WD, not if you dont care for steep road driving and if you are looking to escape the daily luxuries of cable tv or wifi
