This spacious waterfront home invites you to unwind, reconnect, and soak in sweeping water views from sunrise to sunset. Designed for comfort and fun, it’s the perfect blend of laid-back sunsets, fishing and quality family/friends time.
With four bedrooms and six bathrooms, Camp Kalamata comfortably accommodates families and groups of up to 14. The sleeping arrangements include two king bedrooms, one queen bedroom, one child bed, and three sets of bunk beds – ideal for kids, cousins, or friends. Each of the six bathrooms is designed for relaxation and convenience, featuring luxurious touches such as a jetted soaking tub, bidet, walk-in showers, and plush towels.
Bayfront Living at Its Best
Step outside to your own slice of Galveston Bay paradise. Bring your own boat or if you dont have one no worries a 450-foot private fishing pier extends into calm waters where trout, redfish, and flounder are practically at your doorstep. Bring your poles, crab traps, or simply a chair to enjoy the sunrise – the pier is large enough for the whole family to gather for evening fishing or stargazing. Want to get out on the water but didn’t bring your boat? No problem! We can help arrange a local fishing guide who will pick you up and drop you off right at the pier. It does not get any better then that.
If you’re a nature lover, you’ll appreciate that Camp Kalamata sits just steps from a protected bird sanctuary. Osprey, egrets, herons, pelicans, and even the occasional roseate spoonbill can be spotted gliding overhead – a dream for birdwatchers and photographers alike. And for a cool weather treat we are visted by the migrating White Pelican in the fall and winter months! It is quite a sight to see.
Relax or Explore – Your Choice
Prefer sandy toes and salty air? The beach is just a 6-minute drive (about 3 miles) away, where you can swim, surf, or simply enjoy a long coastal walk.
Back at home, unwind in the pool or hot tub, sometimes you might even spot a dolphin and watch as the sun melts into the bay. Evenings here are magical – soft breezes, string lights, and laughter echoing over the water.
PETS:
Up to 2 well behaved pets upon owners approval with $100 non refundable pet fee & $75 second pet fee. Fenced yard. Please keep your pets on a leash when not behind the fence. Renters are responsible for cleaning up behind your pet. Pets are not allowed on the furniture. Any evidence of pets on furniture may incur EXTRA cleaning fees. All pets must be up to date on all vaccinations. All pets must be treated with topical flea & tick repellant at least 3 days prior to arrival.
No pets left alone in the house unless crated

Added cleaning fees will be incurred if owner must clean pet refuse after check out.
