Hello! My name is Alex Cope. I grew up and lived in several areas around Raleigh, NC before moving to Charlotte for my career. I am an Air Traffic Controller at Charlotte-Douglas International Airport and Owner of Better Vacations co-hosting. I have been married since 2014 to my amazing wife Paige and I have two young children who I love to spend my free time with. We all love traveling and exploring new places!

From your porch, you’ll enjoy views of zebras, springbok, and other friendly animals—you can even feed the zebras right from your deck! (They’re in their fenced area, but they can walk right under the deck!)
Your stay includes free admission to the zoo and complimentary animal feed, so you can explore the park at your own pace and enjoy hands-on interactions throughout your visit. And around 5 PM daily, listen for the majestic roar of the lions, a thrilling part of the authentic zoo experience.
