Better Than We Hoped

My family and I were very happy with our trip! The location is perfect, just a short walk to the beach with a nice view of the water from the house. The home is adorable and comfortable. It was extremely well stocked and has much more than advertised! It's a cute neighborhood with lots of fun activities, and a short drive to Westmoreland State Park, Fossil Beach and other areas we checked out. The hosts were responsive, and we would definitely come back in the future!

Short and sweet stay

The house was very clean and cute! Short walk to the beach.There was a mermaid parade that weekend and a car show.So much fun!! Would recommend!!

Wonderful family weekend

We had never stayed in Colonial Beach and wanted a place for all ages, mi Ulithi and access to the beach and restaurants. Isle Have Another was perfect! It had plenty of space and niches for social groups and for alone time. And it was nicely decorated and super clean. We Loved the porches and the tandem bike. Highly recommend and would come again.

Nice place in a nice place

Overall very nice, clean, etc. Happy with it. Getting picky, they have everything you need for coffee but no coffee. Chairs seemed kind of cheap, didn't fit the rest of the nice furniture. Beds were Very comfortable.Nice porch and deck.

Girls weekend

This house was perfect for our girl's weekend! There was plenty of room and we loved to TWO screened porches! The house was close to the beach, well stocked, and beautifully decorated. The only negative is the front door. The screen door was hard to close and latch and the front door literally has to be slammed to get closed. We will be back!

Perfect for Family with Littles!

Wonderful home that we’d absolutely book again! We have 4 kids (7, 5, 3, and 2.5 months), and property was perfect for the space needed, cooking done, and proximity to the water. Having bedrooms on 2 floors was ideal, at least for getting a baby away from the noise of others. Kitchen was the BEST stocked I’ve ever used in any vacation home we’ve booked. I cook all meals given age of kids and bedtimes, and this home was absolutely awesome for kitchen needs! Beach being a block walk was great if we needed to come home for a break, nap, or if we forgot something. The beach wagon for use in shed was super helpful and appreciated. Owner was responsive when needed for a few random questions. Laundry room was a bonus and always helpful with kids! A+++

We booked this place for a girls retreat since it was a centralized location for all of us. We found the house to be well stocked with pretty much anything we could want/need in the pantry, fridge (condiments), cabinets (dishes, pots/pans, storage containers, baggies, aluminum foil, coffee filters, etc.... ), bathroom/toiletries, etc.... This made it MUCH easier for us all and we didn't need to bring along so much.The house was easy walking distance to the beach area and town for shopping/restaurants. We felt very safe walking around, sitting on the porch, and inside the home. Beds were comfortable, though the two smaller ones were obviously better suited for children (the room was tight for 2 adult women and the beds were close to the floor- we made it work with no issues). Towels/linens were plentiful. And, there was enough room throughout to have separation, yet places to sit together and socialize. Gwen & Walter were very responsive. We had two minor issues when there, but they were easy to reach by phone and immediately responded to rectify the problems. They obviously care about the satisfaction/comfort of the guests- that meant a lot. We would stay again and may just make it an annual trip. (PS- the driveway was a bit tight with 2 SUV's - just be prepared. But, the street was empty and we could have parked there if needed- we were fine.

Everything was great

Everything was just as listed. The house is very roomy with different seating areas so everyone not on top of each other. It was clean and the pantry had some of the necessities to cooking,ie, salt pepper oil seasonings.

Lovely Place

Looks just like the pictures show! Very clean and welcoming. Love the screened in front and back porches! Can see the water out the kitchen window and from the back porch and deck. We visited the end of August and had the beach to ourselves to admire the beautiful view!

Listing was exactly as described and more. Access to beach gear was a great surprise - particularly the wagon. The house was great for our stay - clean, well kept, and great location. We will stay here again!

Spacious, close to the beach, quiet, A/C rocks

Well kept home with large dining room and two living areas on the main level so that family members can spread out. The upstairs has two bedrooms (King and Queen) and one shared bathroom. You can easily put a pack and play in the King room or the queen upstairs. The beds upstairs were super comfy (we didn't use the twin room or queen on the main floor but they looked comfy too!) The back deck is big though several of the boards are in need of repair. The screened-in porch areas in both the front and back are wonderful in the AM with a cup of coffee. Nice kitchen with a fridge stocked with condiments. Everything was SUPER clean and we appreciated the newer carpet as our 2 year old and 5 year old are prone to slipping on tile and hardwood. We rented a golf cart for the duration and drove around the whole town which was a huge treat for the kids though it made me nervous (seems like everyone does this here though even with young kids.) On the last day we were growing tired of the sand getting all over the kids and instead bought a small kiddie pool and set it up in the backyard and the kids were in heaven. Overall we could not ask for a better vacation home. Thank You & Go Hokies!!!!

Perfect Beach Getaway

Isle Have Another is a perfect house. Plenty of room to spread out with 2 living spaces and 4 bedrooms. The house has everything you could need including beach toys, floats, beach wagon and beach towels. The kitchen has everything too. The location is so close to the beach and the restaurants. And the house has so much charm. We can't wait to come back!
