Welcome to Runway to Paradise, a charming 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom island home that sleeps 4 and sits right along North Captiva Island’s private grass airstrip. Whether you’re flying in or arriving by boat, this peaceful getaway offers the best of island living.

Step inside and you’ll find a bright, open living space filled with coastal charm and comfort. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need for home-cooked meals or a quick breakfast before heading out on your next island adventure. Both bedrooms are beautifully furnished for relaxation, each with easy access to two full bathrooms.

Relax on the deck and enjoy the view of the gulf or take a very short walk to the beach and enjoy the sunset. Due to this house’s unique location adjacent to the small airstrip it is not surrounded by homes and offers better breezes.

Just a short golf cart ride away, you’ll find Mainstay and Barnacles Bar, a favorite island spot for fresh seafood, ice cream, and drinks with a view.

Runway to Paradise is exclusively managed by Shally’s Seashells Property Management, a trusted name on North Captiva known for personalized guest care and high-quality homes. Shally’s Seashells also offers grocery shopping services-have your groceries delivered and stocked before you arrive, so your vacation starts the moment you step off the boat.

About North Captiva Island:
Accessible only by boat or private plane, North Captiva is a true hidden gem on Florida’s Gulf Coast-no cars, no traffic, just pure island paradise. Spend your days shelling along miles of untouched beaches, watching dolphins play offshore, or catching breathtaking Gulf sunsets. We just completed a wonderful 6-night stay at Runway to Paradise on North Captiva Island, and it felt like coming home. Our family has stayed at this house multiple times dating back to 2008, when it was known as Gulf Breezes, and we were thrilled to see it available again after several years off the rental market.Happily, the home has not lost its charm over the past 18 years. It remains a clean, comfortable, and welcoming place—perfect for up to four people. The location is ideal: close to the beach, conveniently near the island’s limited public amenities, yet still private and peaceful. That balance is one of the reasons we’ve always loved this property.While a few minor fixtures could benefit from repair or replacement, these were small issues and did not detract from our overall experience.We also want to give high praise to Shally’s Seashells Property Management, who provided excellent service from the moment we arrived on the island through our departure. Communication and support were top-notch.We’re so glad this special place is back and hope to return again. Highly recommended!
