I chose this neighborhood for my short-term rental because it’s conveniently close to the freeway and airport, with Carowinds amusement park and an outlet mall nearby for fun outings. It’s also about 2 miles from the Lynx light rail, which connects easily to uptown Charlotte. Very accessible, but not in the heart of the action.

What makes this property unique? Well, there are a couple of standout features. First, I actually live on-site in a cozy tiny home in the backyard—I keep things private and low-key, but you might spot my truck parked nearby or see me coming and going through the side gate. Second, the location is incredibly convenient: we’re just one mile from the freeway, making it a breeze to hop on and head anywhere you need to go.
