We recently stayed at Arubaridge for seven days and it was perfect for our group! Each couple had their own private air conditioned bedroom and en suite bathroom. The beds were super comfortable; we all slept great every night! We had been told that the water in the showers does not get “hot” like we might be used to. Most of our group was fine with the warm water, as it turned out to be quite refreshing after a hot day out and about, but one in our group missed a truly hot shower. Just something to know ahead of time.
The common kitchen/living room area on the main floor was a great gathering place as every morning we figured out where to go and what to do, and every night we got together and played cards. The kitchen had all the appliances/utensils/dishes we needed (no dishwasher, but we didn’t really need one). With large doors on both sides, we had breezes through the house all the time. We enjoyed coffee in the mornings, and even had a barbecue dinner one night with the grill on the back patio!
There’s a nice little yard with pretty landscaping: bougainvilleas, aloe plants, yuccas and more. There are lots of patios: each bedroom opens to one, there’s a front patio, back patio and a side patio (with tiki umbrella). We saw chickens most of the days we were there; charming at first, but by the end, their early morning wake up calls were not as charming!
This house is in a convenient location, in a nice neighborhood. We always felt safe. It is about a 10 minute walk to the beautiful Palm Beach (we got lost the first day we walked back, but then couldn’t figure out how that happened!). There is so much to see and do at Palm Beach that you don’t need to go anywhere else for the whole week, except that you would miss out on all of the rest that Aruba has to offer.
There are TV's in all the rooms and all worked fine. There are even safes in the rooms for your valuables. The wi fi worked great as well. We also liked that there was a landline that we could make free calls to the U.S. if we needed to, and receive them as well.
When we go back to Aruba, we will be staying at Arubaridge again!
